Although you did miss Jimmy Akin, and an excellent blog for those of us who love the traditional mass and orthodox Catholicism Rorate-Caeli.

I do have a couple of dissenting opinions:

Speaking of another fine Catholic Houston blog we come to Built On A Rock by Bill Cork. He reviews film and books and comments on Catholic current affairs. Crisp, clean, and simple, the way I like to read (and write) my blogs!

Bill likes to edit and filter comments. That's fine when offensive comments are made, but Bill goes further. When there's an argument he disagrees with but cannot refute, he'll block it entirely or edit to the point of making it inconsistent with the poster's point. His response to this "blog editor's privilege". I don't think anyone has the privilege of distorting another's position, that falls under the 9th commandment.

Now we come to Catholic And Enjoying It! By Mark Shea. This and the previous two blogs that I just mentioned make up what I call the blogging trinity of Catholicism. These three are a definite must on any good Catholic bookmark, or for that matter non-Catholic Christians bookmark. Mark Shea has excellent analysis on the issues of the day with strong theological observations to boot

Mark Shea is generally good in his analysis, and does allow for debate on his blog, avoiding the errors of Bill Cork. Unfortunately, he has a tendency to go "ad hominem" against his opponents, so I don't post their anymore.Matthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02748093918886373656noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16020407.post-1158143676680217492006-09-13T05:34:00.000-05:002006-09-13T05:34:00.000-05:00As far as your dating life is concerned you are ab...As far as your dating life is concerned you are absolutely correct. I realized that I ...Thanks for your kind words sir! I realized that I could never really keep up on blogging Catholic news or theology so I had to go with how those things affect my world-view and my life expereinces, I am flattered that people read it! Anyway I will have a lot of posts in the near future I think but just to update you...

radical campus libertines: As bad as ever!

frothy professors: Thank God, I don't know how it happend, I actually got some Conservative Professors, even one who talks about the Clash of Civilizations between Islam and Christianity!

his dating life: come on now Tito this almost never comes up in the blog! Haha! Anyway the best update on that is that there has as of late been cause for some cautious optimism!

his hobby of collecting old fashion rifles: AND SHOOTING THEM. Anyway I am thinking it might be time to add to the collection, maybe an SKS?Fidei Defensorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02236784399852253136noreply@blogger.com
