Internet Explorer & Mozilla Firefox Viewing

I just noticed all the tweaks I made on Internet Explorer 8 have caused some slight distortions when viewing on Mozilla Firefox 3.0.1. I've finally fixed the HTML spacing problems for IE8, but it is causing border issues on MF3. If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this, I'm all ears. In the meantime I apologize to my Firefox users (and Safari, Opera, Chrome, etc. users). I can say that when I implemented a 3rd column for my blog I started getting all these little issues of border and spacing problems. Again, if there is anyone that can provide any assistance shoot me an email or leave me a message in the CommBox. In Jesus, Mary, & Joseph, Tito

Milestone: 1000th Posting!

I figured I needed to put this up before I forget. I would have never thought I would still be blogging this much at all! Thanks for even bothering to read this blog. I'd also like to thank Fidei Defensor for joining me in blogging about our faith and to Matt & Handmaiden for contributing many great leads. On another note, today is the 90th anniversary of Fatima. How nice that Mother's Day falls on this beautiful anniversary! God bless, Tito

Changes at CF for Lent and Beyond

Just a quick posting to give everyone of some changes arriving to my blog for Lent. These changes will be implemented on or before Easter Sunday. To tell you the truth, I'm still figuring out this HTML thing and redesigning the entire blog. The only hint I'll offer is that it'll be the same 'theme' and one or two new 'additions' to the blog itself.

It's not anything to get excited about nor anything world changing, just evolving my blog to something different, and hopefully better.

What I will say that the focus will move towards a historical interpretation of current affairs. Yeah, it's pretty vague, but we're not really sure how to describe it just yet.

God bless, remember your obligations as Catholics during Lent, and pray well.

The End is Neigh, Farewell College Catholic

Fidei Defensor over at the College Catholic blog is throwing in the the proverbial towel for good.
This young college student from the frozen tundra wrote exquisite postings of Catholic history intertwined with current social issues that made your jaw drop in its coherence and fluidity. He quickly became the staple of many a blogger. He was a bloggers blogger, eg, most (if not all) of his readers were bloggers themselves.
He has a passion for Jesus, old rifles, Spanish history, and our beautiful Catholic faith. He didn't identify any reasons for ending his blog but he hinted at a possible return in the future.
In my opinion he was a true blogger in the strict sense of blogging about his everyday life as a Catholic. With great insight on campus activities and history of Catholicism it was a joy to read whenever he posted his rare postings.
I'd like to say he was one of the best Catholic bloggers out there with the potential to be a major player in the Catholic blogosphere. A self described B-team blogger he was part of a small fraction of Catholic bloggers who enjoyed cult status on the fringes of the Catholic blogosphere. A diamond in the rough so to speak.
Farewell College Catholic, we barely knew ye.
Tito
