Truths About Planned Parenthood

Planned Parenthood was founded by infamous eugenist and racist Margaret Sanger. Margaret Sanger wanted to keep America pure of the darker races and advocated the use of eugenics to 'resolve' this issue. Many of the ideas that Joseph Goebbels used in his 'Final Solution' were directly influenced by Margaret Sanger herself. After the defeat of Nazi Germany, Margaret Sanger toned down her racist statements in much more friendlier terms such as 'population control' and 'family management'. Margaret Sanger was a huge advocate for contraception. So much so that she created Planned Parenthood. Today even though Americans of African descent only make up 11% of the total U.S. population, these same Americans account for more than 30% of the abortions. Americans in general have their tax dollars support Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood operates the chain of abortion mills across the country. We as Catholics need to protest and get this funding ended immediately to stop the endless slaughter of unborn innocent children. The American Life League has started an advertisement campaign to educate the American public of the abuses that Planned Parenthood does and the origins of Planned Parenthood. Correlation Between Contraception And Divorce

I came across a University of Chicago Study that investigated if there were any correlations that can determine the cause of divorce. The study was done to figure out why divorce rates soared after the introduction of the birth control pill. Suprisingly the strongest correlation was the use of contraception which correlated at greater than 50%. Ironically, those that have never used contraception and used only Natural Family Planning (NFP), had a less than 0.2% of divorce. Even those that contraception in premarital sex, but exclusively used NFP after they got married, the correlation rises slightly to less than 5%. Natural Family Planning, it is a wonderful thing! Here are the rest of the statistics: - Changes in divorce laws: No Positive Relationship (NPR) - Unemployment: NPR - Military Manpower: NPR - Public Assistance Variables: 10% - Income Variables: 23% - Age composition Variables: 25% - Contraception Diffusion: >50% - Unaccounted: 6%

Anxiety

Last night as the Lenten Discussion group I am involved in were listening to Bishop Fulton Sheen speak about Calvary, the Bishop struck a chord when he mentioned that the therapist, psychiatrist, and psychologist has replace the priest or reverend in society today. Where we go to deal with our ills. Instead of conceding that our sins are the cause of our own ills, we blame a psychiatrict illness such as depression or anxiety. His words back in the 60's ring ever truer today. We deny our own responsibilities of our own sins and lose the culpability to remedy this. What a little prayer and fasting along with penance will go a long way in reducing and even eliminating our 'perceived' psychological maladies that ails us. I came across this passage while reading Philippians of St. Paul's message (it's amazing how God works in explaining His mysteries). I want to share this with you all:
Have no anxiety about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will keep your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, do; and the God of peace will be with you. --Philippians 4:6-9

Who Is Abdul Rahman?

Abdul Rahman is an Afghan who converted to Christianity 16 years ago while working for an international Christian group helping Afghan refugees as a medical aid worker. Muslim clerics in Afghanistan, even the moderate clerics, have asked for his beheading, ie, execution. This is nothing new coming from the alleged religion of peace, Islam.

In Islam, according to the Hadith (a collection of sayings by Muhammad), Muhammad says "Kill whoever changes his religion,". In Sharia law the penalty for leaving Islam, apostasy, is execution for men and life imprisonment for women. International pressure, especially from the West, is bearing down on President Hamid Karzai of Afghanistan to prevent Abdul Rahman's execution. From Canada, Australia, and the United States, world leaders everywhere are asking for clemency. Even Pope Benedict XVI has sent a letter asking for Abdul Rahman's pardon written by Cardinal Angelo Sodano. Rumors have been spreading around the blogosphere of a possible release for Abdul Rahman. Hopefully this will come to pass. The plight of Christians everywhere in the Islamic world face severe hardships because of their faith. Let us continue to pray for Abdul Rahman and the many other Christians who are suffering at the hands of Muslims. For an excellent posting on Abdul Rahman, click here. Muslim Cleric: Afghan Christian Must Die

And so says a 'moderate' Muslim cleric in Afghanistan in reference to Christian convert, Abdul Rahman. Abdul Rahman converted to Christianity 16 years ago while in Germany. Now that he has returned to 'peaceful' Afghanistan to take his family back to civilization, I meant to say, Europe, he was detained and is close to execution because he converted. This is your religion of peace at work Mr. Joe mainstream media. This cleric, among others, are rejecting international appeals, even that of President Bush and Secretary of State Condi Rice (good name by the way). Let us all pray for Abdul Rahman, his family, and all those other Christians and non-Muslims who are suffering under the religion of peace, Islam. For more on this article click here. The U.N. of Religions

A world body with representatives from the major religious groups is being thrown out as an idea to pursue by the Chief Rabbi of Israel, Yona Metzger. God bless Chief Rabbi Yona Metzger, but we already have such an organization. It's called the Catholic Church. How you say?

"And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my Church, and the powers of death shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."

--Matthew 16:18-19

And Jesus told Peter to build his Church, his Catholic Church, on earth. 'Catholic' is a Greek word which when translated into English means Universal. Thus the Catholic Church is the Universal Church of God. The holy catholic Church.

...eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of us all, who is above all and through all and in all.

--Ephesians 4:3-6

One holy catholic and apostolic Church as God intended His children to be under. The U.N. of religions? It would be better if the the U.N. were religious first, then we would have no need for a 'U.N. of religions'. But before we all become Catholics, what the rabbi suggests would be a point worth considering. I'd like to suggest that we have its headquarters either in West Hollywood or here in Houston. I know some good real estate on Montrose Blvd that would be extremely beneficial to the surrounding community. For more on the rabbi's call for a 'U.N. of Religions' click

Father Altier

Father Robert Altier is a priest in the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis. Recently Father Altier is resting from futher posting his homilies. Father Altier has been critical of the new 'sex ed' program that Archbishop Flynn has been promoting through the feckless United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. You see, Father Altier is an orthodox priest in a very liberal archdiocese run by a Cardinal Mahoney prototype in Archbishop Flynn. Eventually Archbishop Flynn asked Father Altier to refrain from posting his homilies while allowing heterodoxical and anti-Catholic priests to run amuck in his archdiocese. I have blogged about it in the past and will continue to blog to bring the limelight to this gross inequity. For a concise and excellent posting following the drama that is unfolding up in Minnesota head on over to Thoughts of a Regular Guy blog by that guy Paul; click here. Afghan Christian's Execution Troubles President Bush

An Afghan, Abdul Rahman, who converted to Christianity 16 years ago is facing trial for leaving Islam. In Afghanistan if a Muslim leaves their faith they will be executed under Sharia law which the Afghanistan constitution operates under. Can you believe that Abdul Rahman converted 16 years ago and they are only now pursuing the case?! Here is another fine example of the 'religion of peace' at work. Thank goodness this has caught the attention of President George W. Bush. This will only help highlight the many abuses that Christians and other non-Muslims face around the world at the hands of Islam. For more on this article click here.

The Noble Crusades

Ever since Pope John Paul the Great gave a non-apology to the Muslim world about the Crusades, there were many, including me, that protested to anything coming close to an apology about the Crusades. Then the 'Kingdom of Heaven' came out and it only added fuel to the fire of discontent about the 'perception' on the Crusades. For those needing insight, the Crusades were a defensive action to the Muslim persecution of Christians and further encroachment into Christendom. Before the Middle East was Muslim it was Christian. The Muslims swept into the Middle East and subjugated, taxed, and killed many Christians under their rule. The final straw came with the destruction of the Christian Holy places and the murder, rape, and enslavement of Christian pilgrims to Jerusalem. Thus the Crusades came into being to free the Holy land from the Muslim yoke. The rest is history, but an incorrect view of history. Now that Pope Benedict XVI is in St. Peter's throne the Catholic Church is beginning to counter the revisionist history that the Crusades were barbaric, cruel, and unjust. The Vatican has made moves to explain the Crusaders by sponsoring a conference. This is the first step in debunking liberal revisionist history. For more on this click here.

Nazi Netherlands

Joseph Goebbels is alive and well in the Netherlands (aka, Holland). At least in practice and in spirit of the extermination camps the Nazi's used to eliminate 'undesirables'. Holland is employing the same tactics for it's own citizens. This has been going on for quite a while and the Italian minister has called out Holland for it's euthanasia laws. Carlo Giovanardi, Parliamentary Affairs minister in Italy, said, "Nazi legislation and Hitlers ideas are re-emerging in Europe via Dutch euthanasia laws and the debate on how to kill ill children,". Isn't this Dutch 'enlightenment'? Isn't this the product of liberalism, begotten by the French Revolution of 1789, when Rene Descartes proclaimed that "I think, therefore I am" he openly mocked St. Augustine's famous quote, "I am not He, but He made me." Thusly denying the existence of God and making Man god and subverting God's plan. This liberal claptrap has already swept Europe and is in the final processes of enveloping the United States. Communism, Marxism, Fascism, Socialism, and Liberalism are the Errors of the Enlightenment' and we are paying the price dearly. In abortions, euthanasia, homosexuality, and pedophilia. The sexualization of adolescent youth, the normalization of perverted sexual activity that is homosexuality, and the idolization of worldly gods emanating from Hollywood. We are our slouching towards Gomorrah and decent people are standing up to this abhorrent scourge. I pray that this isn't to late to turn back the tide of the de-Christianization of Europe. Catholic Group Blasts Vatican

Yet another group of Catholics, this time a Catholic body representing 22,000 priests, nuns and religious brothers in Canada, have openly defied the Vatican on the teachings of Jesus Christ. First we have 55 American Catholic politicians issue a 'statement' adhering only to 'mans conscience' in defiance of the teachings of Jesus Christ, then we have 19 Quebec priests openly questioning these same teachings. Followed this up by censuring of orthodox clergy and the sponsoring of heterodoxical teachings of liberal clergy in the archdiocese of Minneapolis-St. Paul we, as Catholics who struggle to follow the church's teachings of Jesus, wonder why the Vatican remains silent on such issues? By an act of omission, we silently agree to the louder voices that make these claims. This makes silence a part of the problem within our faith. "Omission" is here taken to be the failure to do something we can and need to do. If this happens advertently and freely a sin is committed. In this time of globalization, actions by these Canadian clerics is openly mocking the Catholic Church in public, and it reaches all the world instantaneously! The toothlessly worded response by the USCCB in regard to the 55 American Catholic politicians statement was an open endorsement of their actions. Even when it 'asks' these politicians to discern with a correctly formed conscience and pleading for dialogue, nothing happens. While up in Minnesota Archbishop Harry Flynn openly endorses heterodoxical clergy and censures orthodox clergy. This same Archbishop Flynn is part of the USCCB! Reaching back into history, a great political thinker of 18th century England, Edmund Burke, quipped this most famous quote, "Evil triumphs when good men do nothing." Evil is triumphing in the Church, what are we to do?

Pterodactyl for Friday

Today's a slow day so I'll throw in this silly question for the day. Assuming we had Catholicism, dinosaurs, and humans back in the Cretaceous period all at once. If there was no dispensation from the local bishop, is it ok for a caveman to eat pterodactyl on Friday's during Lent? Note: Now pterodactyl's were reptiles, even though they could fly, so that would make them cold blooded creatures; which technically would be ok to eat on Friday's because we are not allowed to eat warm blooded animals. Assuming that the caveman is in a post-Trent environment of the Latin rite is it ok to eat pterodactyl?

Oriana Fallaci's New Book: Force of Reason

Oriana Fallaci's new book has hit the United States. In her new book Ms. Fallaci asks how could the most popular name for a baby boy in Brussels be Mohammed? That Muslim majorities are close to coming true in Dutch cities like Amsterdam and Rotterdam? How did Islam threaten the preeminence of Christianity in Europe in 20 years time? The article goes in depth into the reasons, the signs of the transformation of Europe, and the means by which Islam, the Koran, and the Muslim people themselves have fooled the West into believing they are the religion of peace. Oriana Fallaci is no neo-con nor is she an Islamophobe. She is an ardent atheist with strong anti-Fascist feelings. She wrote her wildly successful the Pride and the Rage soon after 9/11 and her follow up book, now, the Force of Reason. Oriana Fallaci wants to remind us of who we are as a society and to not be fooled by liberals and the elites of Europe of their multiculturist dogma of everything is equal, but the West is bad. Homosexual Marriage Leads to Polygamy

The liberals say, "how does my homosexual relationship harm your marriage?", when pushing for legal recognition of homosexual partners to that of marriage. In many instances, even wanting to redefine marriage itself has a committed relationship between two people, as opposed to the millennia old, a marriage between a man and a woman. I'm just homophobic you say? When has homosexual sex contributed to society in any positive way? When has homosexual sex become a right? The definition of marriage is between a man and a woman. The homosexual lobby along with NAMBLA and man-hating feminists want to hijack our way of life in order to get recognition and respect to live their deviant lifestyles. I would like to know how recognizing harmful and unstable relationships can contribute to the safety and security of my family, my country, and my way of life? Especially when this deviant lifestyle of homosexuality and beastiality has contributed to the spread of STD's, HIV, and Aids. I just don't want to worry about a new epidemic wide disease promulgated and spread by those that practice a deviant lifestyle that doesn't contribute to society in any way, shape, or form. What benefit is there? It isn't natural and it certainly hasn't contributed anything constructive to our way of life in living memory. There is a reason why these deviant lifestyles have not ever been recognized (and hopefully stay that way). It's because they aren't natural. Man and woman were created for each other. To procreate and continue human civilization. Tell me if any other deviant lifestyle can say the same. The legalization of homosexual 'marriage' will lead us down the path of ruin. What next? Polygamy being recognized? Why not beastiality? People love their pets, why should we discriminate against canines and felines? I don't want to be called an anti-canine or anti-feline. This slippery slope is coming, and we should all bear down and get our culture back from those liberals and sexual deviants that want to normalize sick behavior. There is a reason why we have religion, civic and natural laws. It is for the survival of the human race. One day we'll all wake up and will be accepting of everything under the sun but stand for nothing. For more on this article click here.

The Ongoing Conversion of Mike S. Adams

Mike S. Adams is a professor at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington as well as a columnist for Townhall.com. Recently he wrote a column about how a website funded by Georgia Tech helped him decide to become a Southern Baptist (according to his article he seems to be still discerning so he may not really be a Southern Baptist just yet). You see Mr. Adams is a member of the United Methodist Church and on this Georgia Tech website, which is taxpayer supported, it said this about the Methodists concerning homosexuality:
"...These congregations perform same-sex ceremonies, although theoretically they can get in trouble for doing so, and they are welcoming communities for people of all sexual orientations."
He continued to see what it said about other denominations and seems to have settled for the Southern Baptists because of their conservative stance on homosexuality. Interestingly enough, this website had this to say about our Catholic Church:
"...While the letter said fundamental rights of homosexual men and women were to be respected and defended, it insisted sexual intimacy be limited to man and wife in a marriage."
Mike's response? Not bad. Not bad at all. Let us all pray for his conversion to the Catholic Church. For more on this article click here. For more on Mike S. Adams click here. For more about the Catholic Church click here.

Dispensation for St. Patrick's Day by Archbishop DiNardo

His Excellency, Archbishop Daniel N. DiNardo, has granted a dispensation in observance of St. Patrick's Day for the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. This means that we as Catholics are allowed to eat meat on Friday for this holy day. Though we must still abstain from eating meat by choosing another day that is suggested by his Excellency as either Thursday, March 16 or Saturday, March 18. St. Patrick himself would have followed his Archbishop's orders, so we as the laity should still abstain from meat, whether we choose St. Patrick's day or the days before or after this said holy day. In the Catholic Church, a dispensation is an act whereby in a particular case a lawful superior, such as his Excellency Archbishop DiNardo, grants relaxation from an existing law. For more information on this dispensation click here.

Joel Osteen's Million$$$

The Leader of Lakewood, the High-Presbyter of Health and Wealth sermons, the Jolly Joel Osteen can now add the title of the Master of Millions. Joel Osteen, the pastor of Lakewood Church has signed a multi-million dollar book deal with Free Press, an imprint of Simon & Schuster. According to the Houston Chronicle,

"The contract does not adhere to the usual book deal with the author receiving an advance on future royalties. The royalty rate is 15 percent of the cover price of each book sold. Rather, the contract is known in the industry as a co-publishing agreement, where the author receives a smaller advance - perhaps $1 million to $2 million - but is then entitled to receive 50 percent of the publisher's profits."

Joel Osteen is one rich Christian. I hope he contributes the majority of his millions, if not all, to the poor, starving, and helpless of God's children here in Houston. God will judge according to Joes Osteen's deeds. For if Joel Osteen sees fit to spend his time skiing in the most swank resorts then God judges accordingly while His poor children roam the streets Houston. As the Bible says: Romans 2:6-8, "For He will render to every man according to his works: to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life; but for those who are factious and do not obey the truth, but obey wickedness, there will be wrath and fury." 2 Corinthians 11:15, "So it is not strange if His servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds." 1 Peter 1:17, "And if you invoke as Father Him who judges each one impartially according to his deeds, conduct yourselves with fear throughout the time of your exile." Joel Osteen has done good as far as inspiring the Christians of Houston, but I don't see my parish priest spending his money on ski trips to Colorado. In fact, the religious among us, that's priests to non-Catholics, take a vow of poverty on receiving their Holy Orders. Among these, they take a vow of celibacy and poverty. Thus they can focus all of their attention to serving God almighty. God bless Joel Osteen. God has certainly showered him with many gifts and I am not one to criticize. I just want to know, being that Joel Osteen is the defacto leader of non-denominational Christians, because in my Catholic faith we are all called to serve others. I'm just curious how Joel Osteen intends to serve his 'flock' with the millions he's making. I know my parish priest's circumstances and we, his parishioners, are blessed to have a man of God serve us. How is Joel Osteen serving his flock? Orthodoxy Strikes Back!

A group of Catholic lay fathers who are fed up with the heterodoxy running rampant in the archdiocese in Minnesota have formed the Dan O'Connell society. This group's website explains that "For an atheistic culture, celibacy is incomprehensible - and unnatural. But for Catholics, we know our nature is fulfilled by love for God our Father. Our purity codes could not match the splendor of our message if they were easy. Celibacy is difficult, but it marks the priesthood with a spiritual focus, pursued in imitation and anticipation of Christ. Our priests take on a difficult discipline, but it allows them to lead the laity in other difficult disciplines that the world says can't be done - daily prayer, communal fasting and worship, faithful marriage and teenage virginity." Recent news of Archbishop Harry Flynn's censuring of an orthodox priest and the turning of a blind eye to the blatant heterodoxy being taught and homosexual subculture his eminency refuses to address has forced this group to form and assist in reforming the gomorrah-like archdiocese. For the groups website click here. (http://www.docsociety.org/) For more information about this group click here. Archbishop DiNardo's First Message

His eminence Archbishop Daniel N. DiNardo recently posted his first message. He congratulated Archbishop Fiorenza, whom he succeeded, for his outstanding leadership and guidance. He went on to mention various groups and organizations and thanking them for their hard work and diligence. One thing of note is one of Archbishop DiNardo's goals is to increase the number of vocations in the archdiocese. Let us all pray for this goal to come to full fruition! (H/T Built on a Rock)

Opie Rejects Disclaimer to Da Vinci Film

Director Ron Howard and Sony, of the Da Vinci Code, has rejected the request by the Catholic League, a Catholic religious and civil rights league, for putting a disclaimer that the Da Vinci Code movie is fiction. Contrary to other movies Ron Howard and Sony have run disclaimers to 'The Merchant of Venice' and 'A Beautiful Mind'. This goes to prove that Ron Howard is a hypocrite and his true intentions (partly) in filming this movie was to discredit our Catholic faith. For more click here.

Turkish Tolerance

With the assassination of Father Andrea Santoro last month in Turkey by (an alleged) young Kurd, the spotlight has focused on Turkey and it's treatment of non-Muslims. Today non-Muslims make up barely 1% of all Turkish citizens, yet the media, government, and military still treat non-Muslims like 2nd rate citizens. From the Greek Orthodox expulsions from Istanbul to the invasion of Cyprus and the expulsion of even more Greek Orthodox Cypriots from northern Cyprus. Case in point is to the Islamicization of northern Cyprus. The destruction of Christian relics. Turning Churches into horse stables or mosques and whitewashing anything non-Turkish from the walls of the former Greek towns of northern Cyprus. I've posted before, but it is important to remember this, especially when Turkey is wanting to enter the EU as a member state with full status. Hawaii: Baby Killing Center of Pacific

My beautiful home state of Hawaii is sliding into Gomorrah with legislation allowing in-office abortions and waiving a mandatory 90-day residency period. How can a picturesque and serene state such as Hawaii be so ugly and cruel to the unborn? How can alleged Christians in the state legislature allow for such an inhumane procedure to be now performed in your own office?! Judie Brown, President of the American Life League, has stated that if this legislation passes it would "...make Hawaii one of the quickie-abortion capitals of the world,". Unfortunately, this isn't surprising considering that recent events have shown Hawaii to be lax on morality and short on character when it comes to the defense of the unborn. Abortion in any way, shape, or manner clearly breaks the Fifth Commandment of 'You shall not kill'. It is at the heart of the covenant because it expresses the core of God's authority over the human race. Human life is a direct gift of the Creator, since at every conception He must immediately create the immortal soul. Once the Fifth Commandment is disobeyed, no other moral commandment of God has any validity. That is why abortion undermines the whole moral foundation of human civilization. For more information click here. For my previous posting on the Fifth Commandment click here. To learn more about realities of abortion versus the lies click here. What the Bible Says About Contraception

We as Catholics can learn from the teachings of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior via the Magisterium that contraception is an anathema to God. Tradition has always been against the use of contraception as well as the Bible. Here are a few quotes for you non-Catholic Christians to discern about contraception: So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. And God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves upon the earth." --Genesis 1:27-28 God created Man to procreate, not to use sex for pleasure. Sexual pleasure is a residual result when done between a man and a woman in marriage which becomes a unitive act; unitying both man and woman as one. Like grapes in the wilderness, I found Israel. Like the first fruit on the fig tree, in its first season, I saw your fathers. But they came to Ba'al-pe'or, and consecrated themselves to Ba'al, and became detestable like the thing they loved. E'phraim's glory shall fly away like a bird -- no birth, no pregnancy, no conception! Even if they bring up children, I will bereave them till none is left. Woe to them when I depart from them! E'phraim's sons, as I have seen, are destined for a prey; E'phraim must lead forth his sons to slaughter. Give them, O LORD -- what wilt thou give? Give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts. Every evil of theirs is in Gilgal; there I began to hate them. Because of the wickedness of their deeds I will drive them out of my house. I will love them no more; all their princes are rebels. E'phraim is stricken, their root is dried up, they shall bear no fruit. Even though they bring forth, I will slay their beloved children. My God will cast them off, because they have not hearkened to him; they shall be wanderers among the nations. --Hosea 9:10-17 God punishes those that use contraception for any means outside of the procreative and unitive acts of matrimony. But Onan knew that the offspring would not be his; so when he went in to his brother's wife he spilled the semen on the ground, lest he should give offspring to his brother. And what he did was displeasing in the sight of the LORD, and he slew him also. --Genesis 38:9-10 Those that practice contraception will be dead in spirit, separated from God. Basically leading amoral and empty lives because sex is used separated from the procreative act, thus rendering it as a 'choice' that only leads to a decline in morality and death in spirit. "He whose testicles are crushed or whose male member is cut off shall not enter the assembly of the LORD. --Deuteronomy 23:1 Those that neuter themselves through vasectomies or other surgical enhancements to end the possibility of procreation have casted themselves outside the graces of God. Which ultimately leads to a shallow and amoral life since sex is used for pleasure that is separated from the procreative and unitive act in matrimony. because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed for ever! Amen. For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. Their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural, and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in their own persons the due penalty for their error. --Romans 1:25-27 When man and woman separate the act of procreation from matrimony, this only leads down the dark path of sodomy, pedophilia, and other 'unnatural' acts. This exemplifies that women are blessed because they have the awesome duty of childbearing. Do not be deceived; God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. --Galatians 6:7 It pretty much explains itself. You say that God accepts all who sin? You are correct, when one atones for their sin through the Sacrament of Penance. For those wanting an indepth teaching of the theology and philosophy why Catholic Church don't allow contraception for contraception click here (Humanae Vitae by Pope Paul VI).

Should Liberals Leave the Church?

I'm not sure if I agree with that just yet. Only because I hope for their conversion or eventual adherence to the teachings of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, ie, the Magisterium. The liberal Catholic problem lies in not being properly catechized as well as falling to worldly trends of abortion, contraception, sodomy, sexual illicitly, etc. The article in the Boston Globe goes on to say why they, the liberals, haven't left the Church. There are other options such as the Episcopal Church that is more to their liking with Homosexual practicing Bishops and woman priests. There are also the Unitarians with their acceptance of all and standing for nothing dogma. Anyways, for more on this article click here.

Birth Control Linked to Breast Cancer

The National Organization for Women and Planned Parenthood doesn't want you to know about the links between birth control pills and breast cancer. "Dr. Sam Epstein, author of Cancer-Gate: How to Win the Losing Cancer War and Professor of Environmental and Occupational Medicine at the School of Public Health, University of Illinois at Chicago, told the CBC’s Marketplace that exposure to the hormones estrogen and progestin, as found in the pill, increase breast cancer risk." The birth control pill is the "the largest unregulated human trial that’s ever been conducted." In Sweden, the liberal's poster child of leftist utopia, a study shows that those on the birth control have a 26% more chance of developing breast cancer than those that haven't taken the pill. The number shoots up to 58% when using the birth control pill for long periods of time. When will America wake up to the lies that NOW and PP tell them? For more click here.

About the Bible

The funny thing about the Bible that many non-Catholic Christians are unaware of or refuse to recognize is that we, Cathoics, wrote the Bible. Not literally, but the apostles and disciples of Christ contributed to what we have today as the Bible, via the divine inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Thusly, the Bible is the word of God. All of which writings were written by about 100 A.D. In the mid-4th century we have what is called the Bible. The Council of Trent canonized what we have as the Bible today in 1563, which means no Christian can question the books in the Bible. Lastly, the word Bible comes from the Greek expression Biblia. Now for some random quotes from the Bible validating the existance of our Catholic Church: And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the powers of death shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. --Matthew 16:18-19 If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector. Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. --Matthew 18:17-18 And Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age." --Matthew 28:18-20 And he said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to the whole creation. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. --Mark 16:15-16 "He who hears you hears me, and he who rejects you rejects me, and he who rejects me rejects him who sent me." --Luke 10:16 And I will pray the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, to be with you for ever, But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. --John 14:16, 26 When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth; for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. --John 16:13 if I am delayed, you may know how one ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and bulwark of the truth. --1 Timothy 3:15

Global News Roundup

Some interesting news today. The big news story today is the Governor of South Dakota signing into law an abortion ban (almost all). Other newsworthy mentions is the idea that the more conservative, or religious (my opinion), are likely to father more than three children as opposed to secular mothers having only one or none. Leading to a conservative, ie, religious (Christian), dominance within a generation or two. Something many Catholics are aware of, well those Catholics that actually practice their faith. This is an excellent article by Foreign Policy (online). For the article click here. The other newsworthy item is Archbishop Harry J. Flynn of the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis has silenced Father Altier, a well respected, humble, and orthodox priest in an otherwise liberal archdiocese. This is pretty disturbing considering the state of the American church is full of homosexual scandals and near-apostate clergy and laity. For this article click here. (H/T The Church Online)

Nappy-Nap Time for Justice Ginsburg

Infamous anti-Catholic bigot and radical internationalist Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg caught a quick nap during testimony over political redistricting in the great Lone Star state of Texas. The pro-abortion Justice seemed to have taken a time out, literally on the bench, from her role in undermining America, I mean serving her judicial role. The napping portion was reported by the AP.

No video footage was available to show this historically laughable event. (H/T to NewsBusters)

The Myths of Cohabitation

Concerned Women for America has a great article on the myths of cohabitation. Here are just a synopsis of each myth by Janice Shaw Crouse of the Beverly LaHaye Institute: Myth #1: Living together is good way to "test the water." Many couples say that they want to live together to see if they are compatible, not realizing that cohabitation is more a preparation for divorce than a way to strengthen the likelihood of a successful marriage. Myth #2: Couples don't really need that "piece of paper." A major problem with cohabitation is that it is a tentative arrangement that lacks stability; no one can depend upon the relationship -- not the partners, not the children, not the community, nor the society. Myth #3: Cohabiting relationships usually lead to marriage. During the 1970s, about 60 percent of cohabiting couples married each other within three years, but this proportion has since declined to less than 40 percent. Myth #4: Cohabiting relationships are more egalitarian than marriage. It is common knowledge that women and children suffer more poverty after a cohabiting relationship breaks up, but it's not so well understood that there is typically an economic imbalance in favor of the man within such relationships, too. 55 Catholic Politicians Abandon 5th Commandment

They can 'spin' their empty rhetoric, but in the end they are wanton killers of millions of innocent children. Here are the 55 names of fallen away Catholic politicians: Joe Baca Xavier Becerra Robert Brady Michael Capuano Dennis A. Cardoza Wm. Lacy Clay Jim Costa Joseph Crowley Peter A. DeFazio William Delahunt Rosa DeLauro Mike Doyle Anna Eshoo Lane Evans Charles A. Gonzalez Raul M. Grijalva Luis V. Gutierrez Maurice Hinchey Tim Holden Patrick J. Kennedy Dale E. Kildee James R. Langevin John B. Larson Stephen Lynch Edward J. Markey Jim Marshall Carolyn McCarthy Betty McCollum James P. McGovern Cynthia McKinney Marty Meehan Michael H. Michaud George Miller James P. Moran Grace Napolitano Richard E. Neal James L. Oberstar David R. Obey Frank Pallone Bill Pascrell Ed Pastor Nancy Pelosi Silvestre Reyes Lucille Roybal-Allard Tim Ryan John T. Salazar Linda T. Sanchez Loretta Sanchez Jose Serrano Hilda L. Solis Bart Stupak Gene Taylor Mike Thompson Nydia Velazquez Diane Watson They all signed a 'Catholic Statement of Principles' which haphazardly tries to fall in line with the teachings of Jesus, but in the end proclaim "primacy of conscience" above and beyond that of Jesus' teachings. 'They' seek the "Church's guidance and assistance but believe also in the primacy of conscience. In recognizing the Church's role in providing moral leadership, we acknowledge and accept the tension that comes with being in disagreement with the Church in some areas. Yet we believe we can speak to the fundamental issues that unite us as Catholics and lend our voices to changing the political debate -- a debate that often fails to reflect and encompass the depth and complexity of these issues." These politicians fail to understand the murder of millions of innocent children is contrary to God's law as well as Natural Law. The fifth commandment, "Though shall not kill" seems to fall on their deaf ears. How is the commandment, "You shall not kill," at the heart of the Covenant between God and His chosen people? It is at the heart of the covenant because it expresses the core of God's authority over the human race. Human life is a direct gift of the Creator, since at every conception He must immediately create the immortal soul. Once the fifth commandment is disobeyed, no other moral commandment of God has any validity. That is why abortion undermines the whole moral foundation of human civilization. (see previous posting) May God have mercy on their souls. The Catholic League responds.

Catholic Democrats Faltering Faith

Catholic Democrats are a sorry bunch. They say they adhere to Catholic teachings yet won't do anything to change the Democratic party's position on abortion. When will they ever learn that one cannot separate themselves from what they practice. If you are a Catholic, you do not leave your faith at the door of public office. Catholic Democrats and Republicans need to be faithful to themselves and who they are, they shouldn't kowtow to worldly things and fall into sin. Governor Romney Supports Bishops Opposed to Homosexual Adoptions

According to LifeSite.net Governor Mitt Romney of Massachusetts is reconsidering his position on letting Catholic adoption agencies be exempted from placing children with homosexual couples. It's disturbing just typing 'homosexual couples' alone on my blog. Anyways, the Governor went on to say, "We respect and honor the free practice of religion, and we look forward to meeting with representatives from the Catholic Church to discuss this issue,". Good to see that the Governor respects theseparationn of Church and State. For more click here.
