The Hatred of Christianity by Liberals

A new book by Chris Hedges is becoming a national best seller. In it, it describes an inscrupuleous attempt of a subsersive form of Christianity that is looking to take over the U.S. government and install a theocracy. It's pretty comical. I've only skimmed the book, but this is becoming a common theme among liberals that Christians are a fifth column looking to take over America. Even though it references mostly prominent Protestants, we see that liberals equally loathe all of Christianity when books like this become best sellers.

Amazon.com's Top 10 Catholic Books

This ranking in Amazon.com is based on customer reviews as of December 19, 2006.
1. The Lamb's Supper: The Mass As Heaven on Earth by Scott Hahn (Paperback - Oct 2007)
I've heard many good reviews by my friends on this book. Scott Hahn writes exceptional books on spirituality, which is not one of my favorite categories. Though I did enjoy reading Rome Sweet Home.
2. 101 Inspirational Stories of the Rosary by Sister Patricia Proctor (Paperback - April 1, 2003) 3. Hope for the Flowers by Trina Paulus (Paperback - Nov 1997) 4. Return of the Prodigal Son by Henri Nouwen (Paperback - Mar 1, 1994) 5. Imitation of Christ by a Kempis Thomas (Paperback - Jul 1975)

I'm almost done reading this book and I would highly recommend this for anyone who wants to sanctify his or her life through the pursuit of holiness. The second most best selling book in the history of Man after the Bible.

6. The Road to Guadalupe: A Modern Pilgrimage to the Virgin of the Americas by Eryk Hanut 7. A Father Who Keeps His Promises: God's Covenant Love in Scripture by Scott Hahn 8. In the Name of Jesus: Reflections on Christian Leadership by Henri J. Nouwen (Paperback - Mar 25, 1993) 9. 101 Inspirational Stories of the Priesthood by Sister Patricia Proctor (Paperback - Jun 15, 2005) 10. First Comes Love: Finding Your Family in the Church and the Trinity by Scott Hahn (Hardcover - May 7, 2002)
