New Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston!

The Holy Father has accepted the resignation of Archbishop Joseph Anthony Fiorenza. Upon reaching the age limit of 75, where all bishops must submit their resignation, Archbishop Fiorenza relinquishes a position he has held for decades. Coadjutor Archbishop Daniel N. DiNardo is automatically elevated to that of Archbishop. May we in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston pray for a faithful and strong guidance of His shepherd Archbishop Daniel N. DiNardo. "...preach the word, be urgent in season and out of season, convince, rebuke, and exhort, be unfailing in patience and in teaching. For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own likings, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander into myths. As for you, always be steady, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry." -- 2 Timothy 4:2-5 Amen.

looking for good things from the new bishop. Hopefully he'll take a strong stance on orthodoxy within the Church.
