Afghan Christian's Execution Troubles President Bush

An Afghan, Abdul Rahman, who converted to Christianity 16 years ago is facing trial for leaving Islam. In Afghanistan if a Muslim leaves their faith they will be executed under Sharia law which the Afghanistan constitution operates under. Can you believe that Abdul Rahman converted 16 years ago and they are only now pursuing the case?! Here is another fine example of the 'religion of peace' at work. Thank goodness this has caught the attention of President George W. Bush. This will only help highlight the many abuses that Christians and other non-Muslims face around the world at the hands of Islam. For more on this article click here.

But Tito, didn't you know that Islam is a religion of tolerance?

If he recants, he will be "forgiven," said trial judge Ansarullah Mawlazezadah.

"We will invite him again because the religion of Islam is one of tolerance. We will ask him if he has changed his mind. If so we will forgive him," he told the BBC on Monday. If not, Mr. Rahman faces the possibility of death by execution.

I say let them execute him, and in response withdraw all US Soldiers who are not of the Muslim religion. Let's see how Karzai likes that.

Tolerance?

Those Muslims are really messed up people.

I can train a jungle of monkeys and the GDP would still be higher than the combined Islamic countries of the Middle East.

My understanding is that he's been living in Germany, and only recently returned to Afghanistan.

Where he was turned in to the police for apostacy by his family!

I want my apostacized family members to come back into the Church, too, but I wouldn't want the government to do that forcibly.

Paul,

I agree.

I'll pray for Abdul and your family.

I wonder if Abdul is Catholic?
