Obama's Heart of Darkness
The lack of coverage and investigative reporting of Barack Obama's public record by the mainstream media is austere to say the least. The record in question concerning Obama was while he was recently in the Illinois legislature in 2001. There the Born Alive Infants Protection Act, or BAIPA which a baby born alive after a botched abortion would be given medical treatment to live, was vigorously opposed by Obama. Basically Obama advocated that a baby die in the hospital room without being given medical attention.
This is in direct violation of the Fifth Commandment, You Shall Not Kill (Exodus 20:13). Our Christian duty is to help those in most need. Killing is not what a Christian does. Only a man without enough love of God in his heart would openly and blatantly advocate for the death of a precious young tiny human being. A man with possibly having a heart of darkness.
We should defend life at every turn. Why would God then pre-ordain each and every one of us to live?
Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you...
-- Jeremiah1:5
my frame was not hidden from thee, when I was being made in secret, intricately wrought in the depths of the earth.
-- Psalm 139:15
Each and every one of us were conceived and planned by God Himself.
Pope Benedict XVI has called abortion a crime against society and today's gravest injustice. Even with the admonition of those that promote abortion are subject to excommunication (see latae sententiae), even faithful Catholics fall prey to the devil's plea of voting for Obama.
The 1974 Declaration on Procured Abortion stated, "The first right of the human person is his life. He has other goods and some are more precious, but this one is fundamental - the condition of all the others." The preeminent issue above all others.
Furthermore in Pope John Paul II's 1988 apostolic exhortation, The Vocation and the Mission of the Lay Faithful in the Church and in the World (Christifideles Laici), says:
"The inviolability of the person, which is a reflection of the absolute inviolability of God, finds its primary and fundamental expression in the inviolability of human life. Above all, the common outcry, which is justly made on behalf of human rights -- for example, the right to health, to home, to work, to family, to culture -- is false and illusory if the right to life, the most basic and fundamental right and the condition of all other personal rights, is not defended with maximum determination".
All other issues are mute if the right to life is not defended with maximum determination.
Children are a gift from God:
Lo, sons are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the sons of one's youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate.
-- Psalm 127:3-5
Who then does a Catholic vote for in the 2008 American presidential election? It's easy, definitely not Barack Obama, the man with possibly the heart of darkness.

Do you like hospitals, universities, the calender, champagne, weekends, and Aristotle?
H/T to Ignatius Insight
"Catholics and other Christians need to take seriously the philosophical and even polemical arguments made by atheists, not to so much to put more strident atheists in their place, but to show, in a variety of ways, that Christianity is not only not contrary to reason, goodness, and order, but is an essential reason why they still exist today in the face of irrationality, evil, and chaos. This means, among others things, a decent understanding of Church history and a basic grounding in philosophy, both of which can be obtained, to a large degree, through reading books and articles by authors such as Chesterton, Sheen, C.S. Lewis, Peter Kreeft, James V. Schall, S.J., Frank Sheed, Thomas Howard, Josef Pieper, Thomas Dubay, S.M., and others."

No Surprise- VA Killer was an anti-Catholic bigot
The Columbine killers had some downright Satanic influences in their life, an extreme hatred of Christianity permeated in their dark souls, not that one would have learned it from the MSM. Anyway the VA killer was, no surprise, an anti-Catholic bigot.
A play by this English major has come to light via the Smoking Gun news website, the whole thing is pretty crude, obscene, violent, frightening, and not worth your time, take my word for it. I am reproducing here though one portion of interest in which the monster, I refuse to even use his name, reveals his intense hatred for priests.
"(Richard gently rests him {sic} hand on John's lap.)
John: What the hell are you doing!
(John slaps Richard's hand.)
John (Cond't)
What are you, a Catholic priest! I will not be molested by an aging balding overweight pedophilic {sic} step dad named Dick! Get your hands off me you sicko! Damn you, you Catholic priest."
Of course you and I read this sort of thing, this pure hate for Christ's Church, and the red flags go up that this is a sick and sinister mind at work, sadly no matter how cliche it is, attacks on the Church will always be considered bold/hip/edgy in some circles. Though I must point out that to the great credit of the professor involved, the authorities were warned in the wake of these sort of writings.
Secondly, is anyone else finding it insulting that the South Korean government's condolences include remarks worrying that this tragedy will "stir up racial prejudice or confrontation," against Koreans? All too often, the rest of the world is more than happy to judge Americans harshly based on a bad experience with a tourist, or depictions in the media. I am reminded of being told that Mel Gibson's "Passion of the Christ" would lead to anti-Semitic attacks. Just as seeing a film depiction of the Passion did not lead to a single such act, I am bothered by the fact that the Korean government thinks Americans will interpret the actions of one monster, who happens to be from Korea, and parlay that into attacks on all Koreans. Do the South Koreans really think we Americans are so ignorant and violent that we grieve in such a way? This is so absurd there aren't words for it.
Third, cruising the liberal blogsphere, I saw a lot of rage regarding the fact that George W. Bush visited the campus today, even going so far as to urge the students to protest him, walk out on his speech, etc. Will these people ever put such compulsive hatred for Bush aside? If he didn't show up, certainly they'd be saying how he didn't care, and sunbed everyone, being so close by in DC and refusing to come.
Of course there were no anti-Bush protests, even if the ultra-liberal hate-bloggers don't realize it, politics and life are not synonymous. President Bush was on campus there today as the representative of ALL OF US, of every single American and our mourning. I don't think very highly of Bill Clinton, no surprise there, but if he were president, and such a tragedy happened at my college, and he showed up to comfort a community in mourning, you can bet I would be giving the man a standing ovation. I sometimes wonder how much damage this obsessive hatred of Bush has done the presidency and the republic.
Fourth, I am reiterating what I said in my previous post, we must not allow any excuses to be made here, no mater how troubled a childhood, or how lonely, or depressed, or medicated, or whatever, a person is, there is NO EXCUSE for acting in violence towards the innocent, much less on this horrific scale.
Lastly, and most important of all, continue to pray for the victims.

Shooting in VA
Let me preface by saying that I have only caught a few snippets of news regarding the campus tragedy in VA. First and foremost we must pray for the dead, and the students and families dealing with this unspeakable tragedy.
Secondly, and don't quote me on this, so little information is out there, but I am eerily reminded of two other shooting incidents, one in a mall in Utah a few months ago, and the DC sniper reign of terror a few years back. I am also, of course, reminded of the Columbine attacks carried out by Satanical monsters several years ago.
It is impossible to know how each of us as individuals would react in the face of such violence and evil, anyone who has not experienced it is hardly qualified to comment. However I'll go out on a limb here and say this, in the face of events such as this one, the September 11 attacks, and scores of smaller incidents of evil and violence that occur all too often in our time, and throughout history, when people are presented with such evil manifested in a sick, twisted, individual, one must do all they can to resist. If one leads, many will follow.
As we learned on 9-11, malicious evil-doers can NEVER be given the benefit of the doubt. The three hijacked planes that went into buildings were full of people who, until those last terrifying seconds, thought they were being held hostage, and of greater value to the hijackers alive than dead. Only technology (cell phones) and time allowed the good people of Flight 93 to fight back and in the process save countless others. In the post 9-11 world I would bet that no person alive, man or woman, age 9 or 90 would hesitate to charge an airline hijacker.
When one is being mugged, obviously, your wallet is not worth your life, but when a sinister person, with no visible motive other than evil, brandishes a weapon, I pray that every good person in proximity will have the courage to fight them tooth-and-nail.
Lastly, while I know as a Catholic we should not pass judgment upon the souls of others, I suspect that the monster who killed these young people in VA is just beginning his eternity in the fires of Hell. I don't know anything about him, but I simply do not care to hear a word in the coming days along the lines of "a troubled childhood," or "society failed him," or "childhood bullying." Moral relativism and psychobabble must not be allowed to cover up for the fact that such evil exists in our world. Let no one waste one moment of time on sympathy for him and instead focus on the killed, the wounded, and the grieving. May they all know the love and comfort of Our Savior Jesus Chirst. In the words of the Holy Father, "Despite all the darkness in the world, evil does not have the last word."

Prelude to Clash
Prelude to the Clash of Civilizations:
Islamic terrorist organization, Hamas, wins Palestinian authority elections. Wants to 'obliterate' Israel.
President Ahmadinejad of Iran wants Israel wiped off the map. Is developing nuclear technology. Is a big oil supplier to China and a customer to Russia for nuclear technology.
Hugo Chavez of Venezuela cranks up anti-American rhetoric causing the price of oil to shoot up to $90 a barrel.
Russia and China doesn't want European nor United States intervention in Iran because of their nuclear and oil interests respectively. Especially in light of United States military forces that surround Iran in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Turkey receives a cold reception in asking for entrance into the European Union.
Muslims stage an intifidah in France and neighboring countries by burning cars, destroying municipal buildings, and private property for over a month.
Pretty scary stuff. Sounds like the 21st century movie version of 'Red Dawn'.
Thank goodness Pope Benedict XVI came out with DEUS CARITAS EST, Christian Love.

President Ahmadinejad: "Islam Will Rule World"
In a statement released by the Iranian state-owned new agency, President Ahmadinejad hopes for Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's death. This coming on the heels of his infamous diatribe last October asking for "Israel to be wiped off the map".
President Ahmadinejad is a piece of work. What a more better example than that of this Muslim leader of the 'religion of peace'. Iran's state-owned media, the Headquarters for the Commemoration of Martyrs of the Global Islamic Movement, released a statement saying "the death of Sharon brings joy to the hearts of Muslims".
Religion of Peace eh? Is this what the founder of Islam, Muhammad, preached?
President Ahmadinejad said, "We don't shy away from declaring that Islam is ready to rule the world."
Haven't we heard this type of rhetoric before?
I'm beginning to get a little worried about this. Not that the United States is under eminent danger from President Ahmadinejad and his Muslim cohorts, but being attacked again is not what I want to go through again after 9/11.

Iran and Armageddon
In shi'iah Islam they believe a 12th imam will rise and rule the world or some kwanzaa made up stuff like that.
My brain is lazy tonight, but I wanted to write on President Ahmadinejad and his race towards the destruction of the world between him and Dr. Evil.
Anyways, a few political analysts are coming around to what I've been musing about these past few months on President Ahmadinejads rants on destroying Israel and Iran's race towards nuclear weapons. Charles Krauthammer wrote in RealClearPolitics about the combination of Iran's anti-Semitic rhetoric and Irans nuclear program.

Cardinal Speaks Out Against the Anti-Christ
Walter Cardinal Kasper denounced Iranian President Ahmadinejad's statement calling the Holocaust a 'myth'.
"It is shocking to hear from the mouth of the president of a nation with an ancient and venerable culture … expressions of anti-Semitism which for every human being are unacceptable,"... said Walter Cardinal Kaspar.

Chirac Moves Up on Anti-Christ Poll
Due to Jacque Chiracs incompetence and ineptitude in dealing with the worst riots in France since 1968, Chirac has moved up from number 7 to number 6 on the Anti-Christ Top-10.
Senator Hillary Clinton falls to number 7 as she continues to veer toward the middle from the far left, though this may change once the Democratic primaries begin in 2007.
1. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei of Iran, Supreme Leader of Iran (succeeded Ayatollah Komeini). Wants to destroy Israel with any means necessary.
2. President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran, figure head, but can sway public opinion with his outrageous statements of wanting to 'wipe Israel off the map'.
3. Dear Leader Kim Jong-Il of North Korea, wants to provide nukes to Islamic militants.
4. President Hu Jintao of Communist China. Is building a near-super power that may rival the U.S. Be wary of his false peaceful overtones, especially from a man that represents a repressive regime that is willing to kill its own citizens to stay in power. A regime that doesn't allow for freedom of religion. A regime that is militarily hostile to its immediate neighbors with a proven history of conquest and subjugation. Followed by the destruction of local culture and language.
5. King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia. He and his family dynasty has been directly funding the building of mosques and the training of militant Islamic clerics which helped to produce the perpetrators of 9/11.
6. President Jacque Chirac of France, a wolf in sheep's clothing. Will do everything, even at the cost of losing his soul, to undermine every single U.S. foreign policy effort of domestic security. Apparently he is also willing to do nothing when it comes to Muslim insurgents rampaging all across France for the 13th consecutive night.
7. Senator Hillary Clinton of New York, see number 9. Senator Clinton wants to be P.O.T.U.S. Wants to perpetuate the Clinton ideals of socialism, bacchanal morals, and bring back the good old days of Caligula, I mean her husband Bill.
8. President Bill Clinton of the U.S., is eyeing the General-Secretary position of the U.N. Would then work diligently to undermine the effectiveness of the U.S. in resolving internal matters.
9. President Hugo Chavez of Venezuela. Just imagine a Latino Jimmy Carter with an ego. Yeah, it's that scary.
10. General-Secretary Kofi Anan of the U.N., elected by the majority of countries that don't hold democratic elections themselves. For a bureaucrat with strict Internationalist and liberal leanings, having the power of the magnitude of the U.N. is not needed for an anti-Semite like Mr. Anan.

Top 10 (potential) Anti-Christs Of The 21st Century
This is not a concise list and I will make periodic updates from time to time. But we need to examine the current events of the world and hopefully detect this Anti-Christ.

The 21st Century Anti-Christ?
Nice to see that one major daily (The Seattle Times) is raising the question of the deafening silence of the world community's reaction to President Ahmadinejad of Iran's demand of 'wiping Israel off the map'.
President Ahmadinejad, as I predicted when he took office, would be the most immediate threat to not only U.S. security, but world security as well.
With a rogue nation such as Iran pursuing nuclear weapons and with their repeated statements in the past of using them against Israel, I am beginning to wonder if President Ahmadinejad is the 21st century version of the Anti-Christ instead of President Hu of Communist China or Kim Jong-Il of Communist North Korea.
Evil has reared its head and Lucifer is smiling to the fact of the deafening silence from the rest of world.
