Foundation for Life Banquet 2006

This past Saturday evening the Foundation for Life held their 30th Anniversary Banquet to benefit the Maternal Assistant Program. This was their most successful banquet since the inception of Foundation for Life. The banquet benefits mothers and their babies. Foundation for Life is a pro-life non-profit organization that was established to fight for the underrepresented such as the unborn and mothers. On the heals of the disastrous Supreme Court decision of legalizing abortion through Roe v. Wade, the Foundation for Life has created the Maternal Assistance Program that offers emergency and medical aid to expectant mothers. The Maternal Assistance Program assists in shelter, food and clothing, maternity and baby items, transportation, pregnancy testing, physician consultations, prenatal care, ultrasound, and many more social service assistance. The Maternal Assistance Program offers sophisticated services that Planned Parenthood would never offer such as an ultrasound and natal care. The Maternal Assistance Program is another example of the Culture of Life battling the Culture of Death. The 2006 banquet had nationally acclaimed commentator Ann Coulter as their guest speaker with Texas State Senator-elect Dan Patrick as Master of Ceremonies. The banquet honored Matthew Lenz, MD.
