New Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston!

The Holy Father has accepted the resignation of Archbishop Joseph Anthony Fiorenza. Upon reaching the age limit of 75, where all bishops must submit their resignation, Archbishop Fiorenza relinquishes a position he has held for decades. Coadjutor Archbishop Daniel N. DiNardo is automatically elevated to that of Archbishop. May we in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston pray for a faithful and strong guidance of His shepherd Archbishop Daniel N. DiNardo. "...preach the word, be urgent in season and out of season, convince, rebuke, and exhort, be unfailing in patience and in teaching. For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own likings, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander into myths. As for you, always be steady, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry." -- 2 Timothy 4:2-5 Amen.

Life Begins at Moment of Conception

Pope Benedict XVI affirmed that life begins at the moment of conception. The Pope went on to say that even before the embryos are implanted in the maternal womb that they are "sacred and inviolable". This pretty much cuts short the debate on the experimentation and the manipulation of embryos. "The Catholic Church holds that in-vitro fertilisation is morally wrong but scientific advances have presented it with a minefield of ethical issues regarding embryos created outside the womb for artificial implantation." ESPN = The Explicit and Sexually Perverted Network

ESPN, the Entertainment and Sports Programming Network as it is referred to, has become the MSM enabler of homosexuality and sexism gone amuck. It is safe to say that ESPN is the modern day equivalent of the Roman Coliseum, it is the depravity of human kind on display for all to see. What? Not ESPN?! Don't get me wrong. I'm not here to advocate a boycott. I'm here to point out how Lucifer can be so sublime that the angel of light, the great liar, can enter your own living room without you even knowing it. Because I enjoy watching ESPN SportsCenter and their many college basketball games, and I'm sure there are many of you out there that watch it as well, I had to blog about it so to put ESPN and those who watch it on notice. ESPN is a reflection of our culture, it is also an enabler as well. It is the zeitgeist so to speak. This can't be better said than that of ESPN. What's wrong of watching a highlight reel of another basketball player celebrating a great dunk or a football player dancing in the endzone after a touchdown you say? It tells us to disrespect our opponent and their fans that's what it does. Oh, it goes deeper than that. Much deeper. Lindsey Jacobellis is just the example of the 'ESPN' generation of viewing athletes hot-dogging it in wild celebrations after a score. She isn't the problem, she's the symptom. She was on her way to winning in convincing fashion her gold medal when she decided to celebrate with a trick, she unfortunately fell and came in second in her attempt to emulate those on ESPN who crow after a decisive score. This is just the tip of the iceberg. ESPN has bent over backwards to promote homosexuality in sympathetic articles of the 'burden' of a homosexuality inclined athlete that find acceptance with their teammates when they come out of the closet. ESPN fails to tell people that homosexuality is an act, not an identity and glosses over the act itself. For example Andrew Goldstein 'contemplated' his sexuality because of his 'failure' to procure a girlfriend. This so telling of popular culture in general it's almost to easy not to answer his problem! And that is he feels the pressure of any other teen to have a girlfriend yet because of his inability to meet society's standards, which is completely out of whack, he contemplates that he is a homosexual! By what upbringing did this young Andrew Goldstein decide to make a silly decision such as opting to be a homosexual because he can't score a date on a Saturday night? Sad. It gets worse. I love women's sports, especially women's volleyball and softball. But to shove it down our throats the way Title IX did at the expense of men's collegiate sports is a travesty. Sure enough with ESPN's heavy promotion of women's athletics and the WNBA glorifying the option of pursuing a career at the expense of motherhood we end up with Sheryl Swoopes 'choosing' to be a lesbian because of ESPN promoting women's athletics as a right and virtue above and beyond that of being a mother, which is the most virtuous and important role any woman can aspire to achieve. What happened here? Sheryl Swoopes got indoctrinated in believing that sports was the end all and be all of life. She pursued it with a passion that she failed to notice the homosexual influences involved in women's athletics. Especially when reaching the college and professional ranks. Women forgoing being a mother and society's redefinition of 'if it feels good, do it', ie, Nike's 'just do it', she obviously has become confused. At the very least she's honest about this by coming out and saying she 'chose' this lifestyle. Is this ESPN's fault? No, not exactly, but they have become the enabler in society. The sweet voice of innocence resonated in the most youthful of activities, sports. God warns us of those that speak of good in evil tongues... "Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!" --Isaiah 5:20 OK, you're telling yourself I am looking too much into this? Well, when a major story on ESPN television is done on a homosexual coming out and no one blinks, that is devious! Understanding that ESPN itself is located in the liberal bastion of Connecticut where the creme-de-le-creme of New York city society resides, you have a better understanding of the heavy sodomite influences that is encroaching the producers, journalists, and sportscasters at ESPN. Here's another example, on ESPN's website they have an annual contest of the 'Hottest' looking female athletes out there. Objectifying women via a sports entity is one way Lucifer undermines society's view on sex, especially the objectifying of women. This is just an observation, something that needs to be noticed. Let's pray that ESPN doesn't succumb to secular society's promotion of sodom and gommorah.

Catechism Quote of the Day

Rejection of false oaths is a duty toward God. As Creator and Lord, God is the norm of all truth. Human speech is either in accord with or in opposition to God who is Truth itself. When it is truthful and legitimate, an oath highlights the relationship of human speech with God's truth. A false oath calls on God to be witness to a lie. Catechism #2151 I saw this in myCatholic.com and wanted to share it with you all. It's sad to see that Muslims the world over are following a false prophet.

How Catholicism Led to Freedom, Capitalism, and Western Success

Baylor University scholar Rodney Stark has just released a book titled: The Victory of Reason: How Christianity Led to Freedom, Capitalism, and Western Success. In it he writes how "...the West became history's most successful civilization because of the unique theology that undergirded western culture. Christian theology was both rational and progressive; it held that knowledge of God and of God's purposes could deepen and develop over time, to the point where new doctrines could evolve. Unlike Islam, which froze doctrine in an unchangeable sacred text, Christianity affirmed the "development of doctrine," and that had a profound cultural impact — it helped create a civilization that was future-oriented, that believed in material as well as intellectual and spiritual progress, and that thought itself obliged to apply human reason to nature so that the world might become a garden of God..." I for one will be looking for this book to read. I'll give you all my own feedback because I am a history enthusiast. For more click here.

Yahoo.com PC Police

Yahoo! has banned the use of the word Allah in registering yahoo ID's, but has since recently changed their policy. Hmmm, I wonder why? Was it because God, Jesus, Buddha, and Ram were not banned from being used? Yahoo headquarters is located in San Francisco. Just making a point here. I like my Yahoo, but after hearing Google acquiesce to the Communist Chinese government and now Yahoo playing the PC (politically correct) police, I just have to wonder what will happen when the Da Vinci Code movie comes out starring heretic Tom Hanks and agnostic Opie. Catholicism and China

Catholicism in China has had a mixed bag of success and failures. Only recently has the anonymity between the Bride of Christ and the Red Dragon began to decrease. With the upcoming recognition of the papal nuncio relocation from Taipei to Beijing, it seemed only logical that Mgr. Joseph Zen Ze-kiun has been elevated to that of Cardinal. Cardinal Zen has been the bishop of Hong Kong for sometime and it seems with this new title he will be prolonging his retirement to take up his new duties. He is proud of his elevation and this seems as a vindication for standing up for orthodox teachings and facing up to Communist crackdowns on parochial grounds. Christianity has shown signs of great conversions in China itself. The Protestant sects are gaining thousands upon thousands of converts and both the Patriotic Church (state sanctioned Catholic church) and the Underground Church (faithful to the Vatican) have show equally impressive numbers. Let's continue to pray for the conversion of China. For more on this article click here.

ACLU Targets Ave Marie Town

Apparently the civil liberties of Catholics to congregate amongst themselves is too much to take for the ACLU. Pizza magnate and devout Catholic Tom Monaghan is building an entirely new town in Florida for Catholics who want to practice their faith without secular interference. Why this idea so infruriates the ACLU that they are threatening legal action. They should be appropriately named the Anti Christian League of Unbelievers. With the high hand of their army of lawyers stripping every public institution of their Judeo-Christian values this is another battle that they are choosing to take. They want only a certain lifestyle of abortion on demand, pornography for all, homosexual marriage, and soon rights for having sex with minors. What are we to do? EU Recognizes Missionary Slaying in Turkey

The European parliament has condemned the slaying of Catholic priest Father Andrea Santoro in Turkey. It's nice to see that the European Union (EU) show some dignity in respect to the slain missionary. Usually I cannot say much of anything positive about the European Union, nor Turkey for that matter, but it's good to see that they do care for their own. For more on this short article click here.

Pro-Choice Fear of Engagement

A very concise and excellent article by Albert Mohler on the discussion of the abortion issue between Pro-Life and Pro-Choice advocates. It seems that it is official policy of the Pro-Choice crowd to not engage in discussion about abortion. Reasons why? Because the Pro-Life groups "...Increasingly embraces sophisticated philosophical arguments in its effort to convince Americans from across the political spectrum that embryonic stem cell research and abortion are not religious issues." Mr. Mohler explores the reasons why and it can be sufficiently surmised that the Pro-Choice crowd begins by framing the question that the Pro-Life arguments are essentially religious in scope. Being religious, it is 'appropriate' to ignore ALL discussion with Pro-Life adherents based on the framing of the question. Religion is a matter of 'faith' or 'personal lifestyle' that should not be entered into argument. Even when the 'religious right', as the Pro-Choice advocates call us, brings up philosophical and ontological points, it's best not to engage. Me thinks the Pro-Choice lobby is losing the national debate. At least it's better than being called a bigot (I think). For more of this article click here.

Mitt Romney Forces Catholic Church to Permit Homosexual Adoption

Whatever happened to the separation of Church and State? Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney just lost the Catholic vote in one day. I'll make sure on my blog to remind Catholics everywhere what he did to our Church. If he wants to run for president, he won't make it past the Republican primaries. Regardless of what he says he can or cannot do, he represents the state of Massachusetts. Mitt Romney have told the Catholic Church that their request that Catholic institutions be exempt from placing foster children with same-sex parents will be denied. Swedens Big Lie

Sweden, the American Liberal poster child of a vision for post-Christian America. Clean streets, open marriages, rampant homosexuality, no moral judgments. Many MSM (read: liberal press) from Time magazine to Newsweek have promoted the wonderful world of Scandinavian country's social model of no marriage, cohabitation, children born out of wedlock, legalized illicit drugs, multiculturalism without standards, etc, etc. Well, the Big Lie is slowly crumbling down. In a recent AFA (American Family Association) Center for Law & Policy article (H/T Lifesite.net), by Chief Counsel Stephen M. Crampton, Mr. Crampton began his article with this simple truth, "The disturbing truth about Sweden's moral decay should serve to sober us from our own complacent drunken stupor." Our drunken stupor being the continuing influence of liberal policy makers in education to Hollywood to the Democratic National Committee (ie, the national Democratic party). Robert Bork wrote a great book, Slouching Towards Gomorrah, warning America of what we are doing and what will happen. New York City is another example of a modern day city of Sodom. The more liberals in academia and politics continue to peddle this relativist claptrap of no morals, the more these United States of America will be another toothless, defenseless, post-Christian Europe. Well in this article Mr. Crampton goes on to list Sweden's ills such as the higher crime rate than New York city (similar populations) to the highest rates of rape in all the world (both industrialized and unindustrialized nations). High drug abuse causing overdosed deaths to double in ten years to the overwhelming backlog of burglariess that Swedes have stopped reporting this crime because of the near 100% rate of not solving these type of crimes. I could go on, but Mr. Crampton's article reads so much better than I could post. For the article click here.

Houston Young Adult Ministry

Living here in Houston, the fourth largest city in America, with a significant Catholic population would certainly lend itself to various spiritual and social activities available for laity. Of course social activities abound from PACCO (Parish Activities for Catholic Communication Organization) that primarily serves for sporting activities to the multiple parish young adult clubs such as SMYAC (St. Michael's Young Adult Club) that sponsors mostly get-togethers and dance functions. With the variety of social functions available to young adults you would think that there were many spiritual functions available. Well there are many thought nowhere near matching those of the social activities. Here in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston there are some dedicated leaders like Bill Cork who is the Director for Young Adult & Campus Ministry and Therese who organizes the largest Catholic young adult spiritual group (Christus) in Houston. The issue may well be the lack of people stepping up to lead more spiritual activities. Because we certainly have great people such as those mentioned, but for a city of roughly 4 million souls, we need more Catholics to take lead and assist or organize more functions for the spiritual aspects of our faith, not just athletic and drinking endeavors. The efforts by those involved are excellent, what's needed is action by others who complain on the sidelines but don't act upon their calling. One of my avid readers, Matt recently posted about this very issue. His new blog, Servo Fidei, or Keep the Faith, has his excellent article on this very topic and shares his own personal experience with this issue. For the article click here.

Europes Next Move on Islam

With the attacks in London and Madrid, the killings in the Netherlands, the Intifidah all over France, the cartoon demonstrations across the continent, and the daily Imam exhortations of degrading Jews and Christians each Friday all over Europe, will Europe save itself. Maybe. The Netherlands, the most liberal of them all, has begun a crackdown on Islamic extremism and the tightening of controls. France and Spain are revisiting their liberal immigration policies, and no one is talking about Turkey's entry into the European Union. Victor Davis Hanson has some very good analysis of the situation and goes on to expound what seems to be his speculation that Europe will work even harder than ever, clandestinely with the U.S. on radical Islamic sleeper cells while at the same time speaking sweet nothings to the Muslim street. Yeah, more liberal claptrap for 'dialogue', but no action. Thank goodness cafeteria Catholic John Kerry lost the election or we'd be getting our dose of more discussions and less action. For more on Victor Davis Hanson's article click here.

My Hope For a Cardinal: Fr. McCloskey

The Italian media is speculating already and it will only build into a media feeding frenzy. Wow, a secular media actually interested, and knowledgeable, about who will be appointed the next prince of the Church! Well, from the little I know, I can't think of anyone off the top of my head with the exception of Father C. John McCloskey III. This wonderful man has converted many people to our Catholic faith, including some very notable names such as Senator Sam Brownback of Kansas and Fox Political analyst Robert Novak. With the need to convert more to our faith, especially in America, Europe may need some help in this fine example of a man of the cloth. Anyone in a religious vocation, be it a monk, brother, or priest (who is not a Bishop) can be elevated to that of Cardinal can't they? For more on Father C. John McCloskey click here. Hollywood Vile in David E. Kelley

David E. Kelley, a Hollywood hitman for the ACLU has another Boston Legal episode shamelessly attacking our Catholic faith. With no substance, nor moral grounding, David E. Kelley has had a documented history of viciously misrepresenting Catholic teachings as shown to us by Jesus. He is certainly being led by Lucifer in his representations of Catholic beliefs. The Catholic League has put out another notice on David E. Kelley. For more on this article click here.

Modern Day Christian Persecution

Granted we as Christians aren't facing lions anymore, nor the scimitar of a Muslim (yet they substitute with a pack of C4 explosives and an occasional airliner), but here in the United States Christian persecution is not violent; only openly accepted to eliminate Christianity from the public square. Take the case of students inside the Katy Independent School District here in Houston. A group of their parents obtained a temporary restraining order allowing their children to bring religious (Christian- since when was St. Valentines a Muslim holiday?) themed valentines (cards) to school on Tuesday. It took a court order to do this. In this great country of ours, it took a court order to exercise our Free Speech. Remember, the constitution says separation of Church and State, NOT separation FROM Church and state. The original intent of this phrasing was to prevent one religion from being a state funded institution. Not to take religion out of the public square. For more on this article click here.

European Union Has No Values

To the surprise of the Bulgarian people, they have realized that after a year and a half of being members of the European Union, they share no values at all with their new cohorts. This coming from a statement by the secretary-general of the Hungarian bishops' conference, Bishop András Veres. Maybe if the new E.U. members would take Polands lead and be more active in their practice of their faith, they wouldn't feel so lonely. For the article click here.

Europes Demographic Implosion

Catholic Exchange has an excellent article by Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse of the Acton Institute on the failure of the "European social model". Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse goes into detail on the failure of fusing secularism, which avoids conflict and confrontation, and socialism that supports materialism. This deadly combination takes away the sanctity of family and makes children, and for that matter, family, an option. That is the synopsis of this article. For more click here. Protestants Decline Due to Abortion

Yet another article on the state of mainstream Protestantism's decline in membership. There seems to be a correlation on several levels to the support given to abortion on demand and those Protestant denominations that support them. One is that the liberal hierarchies of most of these mainstream Protestant denominations clash with their mostly conservative congregations. The issue of abortion is still a hotbutton issue, but due to liberals in control, their church leaders support abortion (on demand). The Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice (RCRC), a much more friendly term for the formally known Religious Coalition for Abortion Rights, was funded by the Playboy Foundation. They claim to have memberships from all ranges, especially the mainstream, (of) Protestant denominations. Yet in fact many years ago every 1 person out of 6 were members of these Protestant denominations, that number is now 1 in 15! The mainstream Protestant denominations represented are the Episcopal Church, United Methodist Church, Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), the United Church of Christ, and many more such as Reform Judaism, and Conservative Judaism, and "Catholics for a Free Choice" (which does not represent the Catholic Church, but a dissident group that does not have the permission to use the term 'Catholic'). Anyways, event the conservative members are leaving these Pro-Abortion denominations. The other level that they may be losing membership is through abortion itself. This is a long term problem with no solution in sight. Unless the liberal hierarchy leaves or has a change of heart for the unborn. For more on this article click here.

Pro-Choice Restraint?

Yet another example of the Pro-Choice crowd's response to a Pro-Life event, punch 'em in the face! The growing vitriol eminating from Liberas, more appropriately termed the Culture of Death, is due to a lack of an argument. More and more each day that passes, science is confirming, no, affirming the Catholic position on life, ie, abortion. That life begins at conception and hopefully someday soon, that all abortions will become illegal. A Pro-Choice adherent punched another Pro-Life coed in the face during a Pro-Life event at William & Mary College. For more on this story click here.

Multiculturist Claptrap

Victor Davis Hanson wrote a brilliant article on the Islamic lunacy and what it says of Western Civilization. Basically the more we succumb to the multiculturist claptrap that all cultures and religions are equal, the more we will acquiesce to Muslim rants, which will lead to more regression of our liberties, ie, free speech. What next, we can't look at a Muslim? This is the beginning of the Great Provocation in my opinion. The more Muslims around the world provoke Western sensibilities the more dangerous this world becomes. For more on this article click here. Turkey: Anti-Christian Bigotry

The murder of Father Andrea Santoro recently in Turkey by a Muslim in response to the Danish cartoons have shed the international spotlight on Turkey's intolerance towards everything non-Muslim, especially Christianity. Some Christian literature found in the parish where Father Andrea Santoro was shot is considered a criminal act in Turkey. Yes, a criminal act. You read that correctly. There is a law in Turkey that forbids anything non-Muslim from being printed or used as missionary literature. This is to prevent the 99% Muslim population of Islam to learn anything but Islam. The intolerance of Islam rears its ugly head once again. For the rest of the article click here.

Wimps

The United Nations and the European Union have pulled off the 21st century equivalent of Neville Chamberleins aquiesence of the Sudentanland to Germany, by apologizing for having the internationally guaranteed Right to Free Speech. Why doesn't the Catholic Church demand an apology from Muslims for conquering the former Christian lands of the Middle-East, North Africa, and the former Byzantine Empire? For subjugating entire peoples to rape, torture, death, and forced conversions? Dhimminitude is the correct term for the cowardly way the U.N. and the E.U. have prostated themselves to the hateful religion of Islam. For the rest of the article click here.

Quote of the Day

The quote of the day is from the sixth President of the United States of America, John Quincy Adams. John Quincy Adams was well aware of the threat of Islam before 9/11. Here are a few of his quotes: “…he [Muhammad] declared undistinguishing and exterminating war, as a part of his religion, against all the rest of mankind…The precept of the Koran is, perpetual war against all who deny, that Mahomet is the prophet of God.” “As the essential principle of his faith is the subjugation of others by the sword; it is only by force, that his false doctrines can be dispelled, and his power annihilated.” For the rest of the article on John Quincy Adams and Islam click here.

Priest Murdered in Turkey by Religion of Peace

Unfortunately, Muslim irrational (or is it rational from a Muslims perspective) behavior towards the printing of cartoons mocking Mohammad in Denmark has reached Turkey. A Muslim gunman shot Father Andrea of Rome while in prayer during Mass in the back with a pistol yelling "Allah akbar" (God is great). The Religion of Peace shows us by their example of their logic and sense of human compassion what they really think of Christians worldwide. Let us pray for Father Andrea, the murdered priest. This is a martyr. A Muslim is not a martyr when he or she who straps his belly with four pounds of C4, walks into a children's nursery, yells 'Allah Akbar', then pulls the trigger to kill the infidel. That is not a martyr. And shame on newsman and historians for referring to this dastardly acts by suicide bombers as 'martyrs'. For more click here.

Betty Friedan’s Legacy

Betty Frieden passed away recently and received accolades from many liberal newspapers and columnists across America, even in our own liberal Houston Chronicle. Though the majority of American women, not Catholics or Catholic women alone, reject her as the neo-Margaret Sanger. A ruthless and maligned woman who brought destruction to the family unit. Janice Shaw Crouse of the Beverly LaHaye Institute (written in Concerned Women for America) wrote that Americans, American women specifically, have rejected feminism outright. A CBS poll revealed that three out of four women described the word “feminist” as an insult. Another study found that the number of working women who believe that a career is as important as being a wife and mother has fallen 23 percent since the ’70s. Janice Shaw Crouse goes on to say that Betty Frieden devalued home and family, far too many women have found their window of opportunity for marriage and family closed. Today in America, more women of typical marriage age (20-45) are unmarried than ever before. Late-marrying couples are spending billions on fertility treatments desperately hoping to have a child. How sad. I still believe that being a mother is the most important vocation for women period. What is greater than raising your own children? Please tell me, I surely would like to know. I pray for those women that have been sold the lie that they cforgogoe motherhood and concentrate on themselves alone. This is a lie hidden in a misleading statement, 'you can have it all'. How more misleading and devious can you get than that statement alone? For more on this article click here.

CVSTOS FIDEI Update

Well my Bible Study group completed the Gospel of John a week ago and I have to say, that is the most favorite part of the Bible I have read so far. Speaking of reading the Bible, I have now finished Genesis, the Gospel of John, Revelation, and Exodus. Our Bible Study group will be studying 1 Corinthians, Philippians, and Philomen. I have much more to read if I want to finish reading the Bible before the end of this year. I think Moneybags is still ahead of me in his Bible reading. Hey Fidei Defensor, how far have you gotten in your coloring book? Other books that I have finished reading is Surprised by Truth 2 by Patrick Madrid and Crossing the Tiber by Stephen K. Ray. Surprised by Truth 2 is a good read concerning various convert stories to Catholicism. Crossing the Tiber is heavy on the footnotes, but a good (though tedious) read. Right now I am reading Triumph by H.W. Crocker III, the Holy Bible by our Lord Savior, Saga of the Seven Suns by Kevin J. Anderson, Exodus by Dave Shiflett, and Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. OK, Napoleon Hill's book is relatively small, but I get easily distracted by my many other books that I am reading. As you can read, I am a voracious reader, especially about world history and Catholicism. I don't as much read science fiction or financial help books as I have in the past, but I do find a book a like from time to time. Hey Bill, when are you going to write your own book! It sure would make for a good read... maybe an inclusion in the next Patrick Madrid Surprised by Truth series? Better yet, an appearance on Marcus Grodi's 'The Journey Home'? (or have I missed that episode)? My left knee is still shot to kingdom come, but I'm registering for PACCO softball with Anna's squad again. Probably be a pinch batter or a glorified cheerleader. OK, my knee has recuperated since the unfortunate injury I suffered against St. Anne's last year thus ending my MVP-like season. But it makes a 'clicking' noise each step I take, thus making for a very noisy run when doing my 5K's. I have gone into semi-retirement from running thus also ending my Olympic dream of running the 800 Meter Run at the 2008 Beijing Olympics (800 meters is half a mile to all of my American readers; darn metric system, you'd think the French had better things to do like attend Mass instead of creating mass confusion). So if anyone could fork over about a couple of thousand dollars for my knee operation, I may still be able to make the qualifying meet(s) later this year. My holding company is struggling, but the uptick looks good and I see a growing trend in profits in all four small businesses (investments) that I own. Though I may have to sell my house and/or car to make it through the rest of the month of February. Other than that I enjoyed and was fascinated by my very first Tridentine Mass (thanks for the update Bill). I hope the Archdiocese allows for an expansion of this rite into all the other sacraments and more options for attending Tridentine Mass throughout the Archdiocese. Other than that, If I can get myself out of bed this coming Saturday morning (6 am), I'll be at Planned Parenthood praying the rosary with some other Pro-lifers!
