Christians Disappearing In Palestine

It is pretty unfortunate the state of affairs that is the Christian population in the future Palestinian state. About 30 years ago Jerusalem was 50% Christian and the overall Palestinian population constituted 20% of Christians. Today there are less than 5% (at best) of Jerusalem that is Christian and 3% overall for the Palestinian population. The tumultuous Arab-Israeli wars and the rise of fundamentalist Islam have made the situation worse. By attrition of war and threats to convert the Christians have either converted, were killed or emigrated to the West to save their lives.
