Vatican Doc on Homosexuals in Seminaries

The unofficial translation by Catholic World News on the discernment of actively practicing homosexuals entering the seminaries has been released. It is titled "Instruction on the Criteria for Vocational Discernment with Regard to Persons with Homosexual Tendencies in View of Their Admission to the Seminary and to Holy Orders". Spokane Bishop William Skylstad is quoted as saying in reference to the Vatican document at "Exercising a Christian Realism". "The Episcopal bishops of Massachusetts, in a rare public challenge to the Catholic Church, are warning that a steady stream of comments by Vatican officials critical of gays in the priesthood could lead to hate crimes in the United States. In interviews yesterday, the bishop of Massachusetts, M. Thomas Shaw, his suffragan, or assistant, bishop, Roy F. Cederholm Jr., and a bishop-elect, Gayle Elizabeth Harris, all said they believe the danger to gays and lesbians is so great that they feel compelled to speak out despite their reservations about wading into another denomination's controversy. Educated Women Choose Religious Life

Very interesting to see what I have already known for a short time now. When the options are available to the educated and well to do, more tend to choose a life of Christ rather than that of materialism. It is so important to keep in mind that religion is not soley private and should not be excluded from the public sphere. Keep this in mind the next time someone says "Happy Holidays". Saint Gianna Berreta Molla

Saint Gianna is one of the newest saints in the Catholic Church. Pope John Paul II canonized Gianna on May 16, 2004. Saint Gianna led a devotional Catholic life. She practiced her Faith without compromise. She is also the first 'working' mother to be made a saint. What attracts me to Saint Gianna is how she lived her life, even to the very end. You see, Saint Gianna was diagnosed with a large ovarian cyst during her fourth pregnancy. Her surgeon recommended an abortion to save her life. Saint Gianna refused and died a week after her childs birth. Saint Gianna cared more for doing right by her unborn child than her own life. Robert Bork: Slouching Towards Gomorrah

Slouching Towards Gomorrah is a book written in 1996 by Robert Heron Bork. Robert Bork is well known for being the rejected nominee of President Ronald Reagan for the Supreme Court in 1987. What many people don't realize is that Robert Bork recently converted to Catholicism. This is a natural progression from his own beliefs and moral values. He is an advocate for keeping marriage between a man and a woman is just one example of this Cultural Warrior. With the death of his first wife in 1980, then the writing of his (seminal?) book Slouching Towards Gomorrah, and his marriage to his second wife, a former nun and practicing Catholic, Robert Bork seemed destined to become a Catholic himself. His ever growing apathy towards the moral decay of America led him on a journey that eventually brought him into accord with the Catholic Church. After being hired on as a professor at Ave Maria School of Law by Tom Monaghan in 1999, he converted four years later and came home to the Catholic Church. Nonetheless, his book, Slouching Towards Gomorrah, is an insightfully and ever more relevant read today as it was in 1996. I rarely recommend books to read that are not of current affairs, unless of course it is the Bible, but this book and the Clash of Civilizations are two books worth reading. Both are prophetic in being relevant then and now and helps put in perspective what we are up against at home and abroad. But back to the book, Slouching Towards Gomorrah is a great book to read in order to understand the currents of American, for that matter Western, culture and where we are heading.

The Democratic Party In Crisis

Today is a slow day and I feel like blogging, so here is a rambling rant on the state of the national Democratic Party in America... I am troubled by the state of the Democratic Party in America. They have lost their idealism, their purpose, their resolve. The 60s are over, the battle over racism has largely been won. They got Roe v. Wade passed and have innumerable rights for every group imaginable. What happened? My opinion is that Democrats are largely people of empty amoral lives that need a cause to feel fulfilled. Since they deny the existence of God (I'm generalizing Democrats, I know there are God-fearing Christians, but you guys lost the soul of your party), they feel better about themselves by tearing down others. Thus this explains their vitriol towards President George W. Bush, and any high ranking Republican or celebrity with strong Christian values. Having been defeated in state after state of promoting homosexual unions as marriage, they have lost their way. Communism having been discredited with the demise of the Soviet Union in 1992 and the inaptitude of Socialism with the collapsing economies of France and Germany in 2004 and 5. The Democrats are in the wrong end of history and they are doing everything possible to bring down the other party, ie, the Republican Party. They have lost their way. I don't know what will happen, but it is clear that the Democratic Party is guided by the need for power as opposed to serving the American people. When 2008 rolls around it will be interesting how they will sell Senator Hillary Clinton. God help them.

NY Times Anti-Catholic Past (and still today)

1932 Pulitzer Prize winner writer for the New York Times Walter Duranty was a closet communist sympathizer that 'rationalized' the death of millions of Ukrainians during the famine of 1932-33. Duranty is sometimes quoted of saying of the death and misery in the Ukraine during this period as "This is good..." Referring to dictator Joseph Stalins tactit of genocide to rid the eastern Soviet flank of Catholics and Orthodox, thus ensuring communism and atheism being further entrenched against their non-communist neighbors to the east. Walter Duranty whitewashed Joseph Stalins crimes, thus revealing that the New York Times were then, and still today, very liberal and secular. Duranty, who covered the Soviet Union for the New York Times from 1922 to 1941, ignored Stalin's atrocities, including the famine that killed seven to ten million Ukrainians. Walter Duranty, who is "credited" for coining the phrase (referring to Stalin's purges) "You can't make an omelet without breaking eggs," said of the famine accusations.

I'd like to get on my soapbox and say that we need to learn our history. Before the liberals revise it to promote their decrepit movement.

Walter Duranty is a sad and pathetic man and the New York Times continues to split hairs and ignore this blatant fact. I used to read the New York Times daily, in fact it was my favorite paper for many years. When I began to be more knowledgeable of facts and current events, ie, doing my own research, listening to talk radio, the internet, and thank goodness, Fox News. I began to notice the liberal leanings of many MSM (mainstream media outlets). This eventually brought a difficult but correct decision of abstaining from reading the New York Times because of their hypocritical news coverage and outrageous promotion of the liberal agenda despite the opposing facts undermining many liberal movements.

Homosexuality Triggering HIV Escalation

A recent CDC report has come out that the rates of HIV infection have dropped for heterosexuals and intravenous drug users, but the rate among those that engage in perverse sex such as homosexuality have increased. Mass Isn't For Entertainment

Cardinal Arinze chastised those that seek dance during the liturgy or want to get 'something out of Mass'. We attend Mass to celebrate and praise Jesus, not to demand something from Jesus. Many of the new Protestant mega-churches like Joel Osteen in Houston seek to make you wealthy and healthy during their worship service. Slippery Slope in Massachusetts

First premarital sex is ok, then cohabitation is fine. Next we get contraception and abortion. Now with the trickle down effect of homosexual marriage we are getting bestiality being less of an offense (an option to pay a fine instead of heading to jail) if a new bill gets passed in the Kennedy-Kerry Klan (KKK) state of Massachusetts. This same bill would also decriminalize adultery, fornication, and the advertisement of abortion. Next thing you know, new laws will be passed to allow you to marry your pet dog and your homosexual partner at the same time! That would be called same-sex bestial marriage! For more click here.

Another Downside To Cohabitation

Strained relationships between parent(s) and child is another casualty of cohabitation. Cohabitation occurs when parent-child relationships are dysfunctional and are exacerbated once cohabition occurs. Another dent in the 'it prepares us for matrimony' fallacy. Granted there are cases where a loving relationship in marriage can occur (and great relations with the parents) after cohabitation, but the evidence ways heavily against this. Making the odds of a successful marriage even less when you have a poor relationship with your mother or father. For more click here. 67th Lourdes Miracle Confirmed

Anna Santaniello is the latest to have a confirmed miracle. Archbishop Gerardo Pierro of Salerno made the proclamation on November 11. It is the 67th miracle tied to Lourdes and officially recognized by the Church. At age 40 Anna suffered from a childhood illness from cardiac malformation. Near death, she was carried on a stretcher to Lourdes, lowered in freezing water and was cured. It was later confirmed by doctors. 56 years later the Catholic Church affirmed the miracle and made it official. For more click here.

Houston Chronicle Promotes Homosexual Agenda

With 76% of the vote coming in reinforcing Jesus' teachings and natural law that marriage is defined to be between one man and one woman, the Houston Chronicle still wrote a blatantly biased news story that gave the impression that 'gay marriage' is A-OK. Chronicle writers Lori Rodriguez and Barbara Karkabi seemed to have written an article as if homosexual marriage passed! They wrote that if people who engage in perverse sex can adopt, why not marry?! 72% of voters in Houston unanimously approved of keeping marriage between one man and one woman, this has not changed since recorded history (that's approximately 6,000 years of human history). According to a survey 49% consider those of the same sex who participate in homosexual sex to be morally wrong. Rodriguez and Karkabi further go on to write that according to Rice University sociologist Stephen L. Klineberg that 'white and older conservative voters usually dominate' in city elections. They also cited that only about 18% of eligible voters voted. So the Houston Chronicle via Rodriguez and Karkabi are promoting that old white conservatives don't approve of immoral sex between same sex individuals that so happen to want to keep the 6,000 year old practice of marriage in tact. It's nice to know that they went out of their way to show us that old white conservatives still have morals. And that only if non-whites of the 82% who didn't vote, the tide would have turned. They gave that impression nonetheless. The article goes on to say that there is a significant shift towards approval of those who engage in perverse sexual acts. Though they fail to explain how the ballot somehow was approved by 76% of the Texas electorate. Of the 26 paragraphs written by Rodriguez and Karkabi, 2 paragraphs were devoted to showing the 76% of Texans on who and why the voted for keeping marriage in tact. So about 8% of the article was devoted to the 76% of Texans that wanted to keep marriage the same since recorded history. Rodriguez and Karkabi wrote an article by explaining the 'changing' attitudes and the 'whats the big deal' outlook towards people of the same sex wanting to have unnatural sex with each other. 92% of the article was devoted to promoting perverse sex between people of the same sex, even though they only represented 24% of the voters who want to pursue perverse sex. Again this shows why the Houston Chronicle is a far left fish wrap. This explains why the Houston Chronicle is so far out of the mainstream that they continue to lose subscribers in America's 4th largest city, even when there is NO RIVAL PAPER around. Boycott Wal-Mart?

Bill Donahue, the President of the Catholic League, has urged 126 religious organizations to boycott Wal-Mart. The reason being that a customer complained to Wal-Mart customer service because in all their stores it says 'Happy Holidays' where it once said 'Merry Christmas'. Wal-Mart responded with an email that said that there are many other traditions and Christmas is not necessarily Christian. So they also promote Hanukkah and Kwaanza, which is not a real holiday by the way. But if you search in the Wal-Mart website, you will find about 200 items listed under Hanukkah and 77 items under Kwaanza. But only a 'Holiday' page for Christmas, and no reference to Christmas whatsoever. It's time to boycott Wal-Mart, but I suggest you make your own decision to this, though the facts should persuade you to boycott Wal-Mart as well. At the very least, pass this along to friends to remind them of the Political Correctness at Wal-Mart have gone amuck. For more click here.

Bear Witness To The Politically Correct

Archbishop Javier Martinez of Granada, Spain exhorted his listeners to bear witness to the Politically Correct crowd. I agree. Religion is soley reserved to the private realm. It is both a public expression and a private expression. We need not keep our 'religion' to ourselves so as to please the secularists. This is another form of dhimminitude. Dhimminitude is what is called in the Islamic world the subjugation of non-Muslims, primarily Christians and Jews, to second class citizens that forbids them of expressing themselves outwardly in order to not offend Muslims. Archbishop Martinez goes on to say:
". . .is a call to bear witness to ecclesial communion and to rediscover ones membership in the church, because whatever breaks and weakens that union is no good and comes from the evil one. . ."

A Brief History of Jihad

Muslims like to point out the fact of the Crusades of Christian and Western aggression. What many liberals in the West conveniently 'forget' to say was that the Crusades were a reaction to Muslim aggression. Many liberals 'fail' to mention that north Africa, Anatolia, and the Middle East were all Christian centuries prior to Islam. They fell to Muslim armies that declared Jihad against infidels, ie, Christians, Jews, Zoroastrians, etc. This article gives a short but concise review of events of Muslim aggression through the centuries. This also goes on to help explain why 9/11 occurred and why Muslims today make many excuses such as economics and racism for their reasons to riot and kill non-Muslims. Pope: Don't Water Down Teachings

Pope Benedict XVI has urged Austrian Bishops to stop watering down the teachings of Jesus. Many Austrian Bishops believe by watering down the teachings, they are preventing Catholics from leaving the Church. Pope Benedict XVI has countered otherwise that by standing firm to the teachings and speaking unfiltered Truth, the opposite has proven itself. Catholics are returning in ever greater numbers. Many bishops here in the United States such as Archbishop Mahony and Bishop Skylstad have shown time and time again their uneasiness with the teachings of Jesus. Traditional Marriage Amendment Passed By Texans!

The perennially liberal fishwrap that is the Houston Chronicle on their website has just stated: Same-sex marriage ban wins OK. Traditional marriage is already enshrined in Texas law, but this proposal is a constitutional amendment that makes traditional marriage as set by God specifically between a man and a woman. By an overwhelming percentage of voters, 75%, voted for this constitutional amendment. The Culture of Life struck another blow against the Culture of Death in Texas. Many political commentators speculated this may be the test law that could be questioned by the Supreme Court in ultimately overturning Roe v. Wade. Let us all pray a novena for this to occur. Senator Hillary Clinton falls to number 7 as she continues to veer toward the middle from the far left, though this may change once the Democratic primaries begin in 2007. 1. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei of Iran, Supreme Leader of Iran (succeeded Ayatollah Komeini). Wants to destroy Israel with any means necessary. 2. President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran, figure head, but can sway public opinion with his outrageous statements of wanting to 'wipe Israel off the map'. 3. Dear Leader Kim Jong-Il of North Korea, wants to provide nukes to Islamic militants. 4. President Hu Jintao of Communist China. Is building a near-super power that may rival the U.S. Be wary of his false peaceful overtones, especially from a man that represents a repressive regime that is willing to kill its own citizens to stay in power. A regime that doesn't allow for freedom of religion. A regime that is militarily hostile to its immediate neighbors with a proven history of conquest and subjugation. U.S. Cites Saudi Arabia On Repression Of Christians

It's not anything new that we see Saudi Arabia cited by the U.S. State Department as malicious towards non-Muslims. The U.S. State Department also cites Eritrea, Sudan, Vietnam, China, Burma, Iran, and North Korea as rogue states that suppress religious freedom. Cited in the report, in regards to Saudi Arabia: "...Freedom of religion does not exist" in Saudi Arabia, the report said. "Islam is the official religion and all citizens must be Muslims..." It doesn't get any clearer than that for the liberal mainstream media that continues to refuse to recognize the inherent hatred towards non-Muslims in the alleged religion of peace. Intifadah in France

France is under assault for being being tolerant. The multiculturists-militants, liberal elites, socialists, and PC-Nazis have gone off the extreme end by inviting people of an inheritantly intolerant faith and culture (one and the same, go ask a Muslim). They 'dealt' with the situation of Muslim immigrants by purposely secluding them in government housing all over France. To the point that not even police patrols are done through these same neighborhoods due to the violence. This is not an economic issue, nor is it soley a French issue. This is nearly European wide. Sweden, the Netherlands, Denmark, and the United Kingdom have suffered from Muslim violence and rampaging rioters for years. Only this year it has gone beyond the myopic mass ignorance that these 'riots' are separate events with no connection between these. Why? Right now, there are riots all over France and Denmark. The media is not mentioning Denmark I've noticed, but the blogosphere has identified it alright. What about the Netherlands. Where politicians are under 24 hour security surveillance because they disagreed to the murder of one Theo Van Gogh by Muslim extremists. PROP 2: VOTE 'FOR'

Today is an important election day because Proposition 2 is being voted on in the ballot. Prop 2 wants to make marriage be clearly defined between a man and a woman. We as Christians adhere to the teachings of Jesus Christ. ". . .Thus, he blessed the man and the woman with the words "Be fruitful and multiply" (Gen 1:28). Therefore, in the Creator's plan, sexual complementarity and fruitfulness belong to the very nature of marriage. . ." ". . . The Church teaches that Christian marriage is an efficacious sign of the covenant between Christ and the Church (cf. Eph 5:32). . ." ". . . This Christian meaning of marriage, far from diminishing the profoundly human value of the marital union between man and woman, confirms and strengthens it (cf. Mt 19:3-12; Mk 10:6-9). . ." ". . .Sacred Scripture condemns homosexual acts "as a serious depravity... (cf. Rom 1:24-27; 1 Cor 6:10; 1 Tim 1:10). . ." ". . .Nonetheless, according to the teaching of the Church, men and women with homosexual tendencies "must be accepted with respect, compassion and sensitivity. Homosexual Bishop of the Episcopalian church, Gene Robinson, got a rebuke by the Catholic League. The Catholic League is a religious and civil rights organization that battles anti-Catholicism. Bishop Robinson 'claims' that because of the Catholic Church's teaching on the evils of perverse sex being abominable to God, many Catholics have been converting over to the Episcopal church. The American Defamation League's Abraham Foxman is at it again with his anti-Christian tirade. Apparently there is a national conspiracy to Christianize America. Could someone please explain to Abe Foxman that America is already Christian. He's been hitting the cool-aid one to many times. The ADL is a good organization when it comes to protecting the rights of Jews and Israel. But when they dwell in conspiracy theories and actively seek the elimination of all things that make America Christian, which in essence is just 'America'. Homosexual Marriage Spurs Social Revolution in Canada

With the legalization of homosexual marriages, anyone caught defending 'traditional' marriage between a man and a women face fines and imprisonment. They said this wouldn't happen when the liberals were pushing for 'equal' rights for those that want to practice perverse sex and recognize their perverse relationships as equal to that of 'traditional' marriage. What else has happened up north? Children in sex education classes are now being taught homosexual sex of being equal to heterosexual sex and portraying 'positive' practicing homosexual relationships. Homosexual Bishop Slams Catholic Church

Homosexual Episcopalian Bishop of New Hampshire Gene Robinson 'thanked' the Church by disrespecting Pope Benedict XVI by referring to his Holiness as 'Pope Ratzinger'. Calling the teachings of Jesus as 'vile' in reference to our Father's prohibition to perverse sex. He went on to claim that the Anglican church have had a large influx of Catholics converting to Anglicanism because of this. Has anyone told him that because of his ordination that an Anglican Schism is pretty much in its final stages of coming to fruition (or is it ruination). Muslims rioted, burned, and pillaged store fronts, residential areas, schools, et al, all over Paris for the 10th consecutive night. Paris is in flames, Muslims are rioting all over France and Denmark and the Euro Elites seem as clueless as ever on how to 'deal' with these malcontents. Most European and American mainstream media outlets continue to avoid using the word "Muslim" in describing these revolutionaries. 'Economic victims', 'jobless', 'rioters', etc have been used in describing the looters and pillagers that have been on a rampage for the 10th consecutive evening in Paris. Will this wake up the American and/or European liberals and elites that what happened in 9/11 is not an anomaly? Nope. Eucharist As The Strength Of Martyrs

This article from ZENIT explains that many martyrs of the early Church, as well as Saints, were executed while in the presence of the Eucharist. Most of this draws from the first 300 years of the Church after the Resurrection of Jesus.

This is not a concise list and I will make periodic updates from time to time. But we need to examine the current events of the world and hopefully detect this Anti-Christ. 1. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei of Iran, Supreme Leader of Iran (succeeded Ayatollah Komeini). Wants to destroy Israel with any means necessary. 2. President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran, figure head, but can sway public opinion with his outrageous statements of wanting to 'wipe Israel off the map'. 3. Dear Leader Kim Jong-Il of North Korea, wants to provide nukes to Islamic militants. 4. President Hu Jintao of Communist China. Is building a near-super power that may rival the U.S. Be wary of his false peaceful overtones, especially from a man that represents a repressive regime that is willing to kill its own citizens to stay in power. A regime that doesn't allow for freedom of religion. A regime that is militarily hostile to its immediate neighbors with a proven history of conquest and subjugation. Followed by the destruction of local culture and language. 5. King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia. He and his family dynasty has been directly funding the building of mosques and the training of militant Islamic clerics which helped to produce the perpetrators of 9/11. 6. Senator Hillary Clinton of New York, see number 9. Senator Clinton wants to be P.O.T.U.S. Wants to perpetuate the Clinton ideals of socialism, bacchanal morals, and bring back the good old days of Caligula, I mean her husband Bill. 7. President Jacque Chirac of France, a wolf in sheep's clothing. Will do everything, even at the cost of losing his soul, to undermine every single U.S. foreign policy effort of domestic security. 8. President Bill Clinton of the U.S., is eyeing the General-Secretary position of the U.N. Would then work diligently to undermine the effectiveness of the U.S. in resolving internal matters. 9. President Hugo Chavez of Venezuela. Just imagine a Latino Jimmy Carter with an ego. Yeah, it's that scary. 10. General-Secretary Kofi Anan of the U.N., elected by the majority of countries that don't hold democratic elections themselves. For a bureaucrat with strict Internationalist and liberal leanings, having the power of the magnitude of the U.N. is not needed for an anti-Semite like Mr. Anan.

Christians Disappearing In Palestine

It is pretty unfortunate the state of affairs that is the Christian population in the future Palestinian state. About 30 years ago Jerusalem was 50% Christian and the overall Palestinian population constituted 20% of Christians. Today there are less than 5% (at best) of Jerusalem that is Christian and 3% overall for the Palestinian population. The tumultuous Arab-Israeli wars and the rise of fundamentalist Islam have made the situation worse. By attrition of war and threats to convert the Christians have either converted, were killed or emigrated to the West to save their lives. The 21st Century Anti-Christ?

Nice to see that one major daily (The Seattle Times) is raising the question of the deafening silence of the world community's reaction to President Ahmadinejad of Iran's demand of 'wiping Israel off the map'. President Ahmadinejad, as I predicted when he took office, would be the most immediate threat to not only U.S. security, but world security as well. With a rogue nation such as Iran pursuing nuclear weapons and with their repeated statements in the past of using them against Israel, I am beginning to wonder if President Ahmadinejad is the 21st century version of the Anti-Christ instead of President Hu of Communist China or Kim Jong-Il of Communist North Korea. Psalm 111(112)

(1) Hallelujah! Happy are those who fear the LORD, who greatly delight in God's commands. (2) Their descendants shall be mighty in the land, generation upright and blessed. (3) Wealth and riches shall be in their homes; their prosperity shall endure forever. (4) They shine through the darkness, a light for the upright; they are gracious, merciful, and just. (5) All goes well for those gracious in lending, who conduct their affairs with justice. (6) They shall never be shaken; the just shall be remembered forever. (7) They shall not fear an ill report; their hearts are steadfast, trusting the LORD. (8) Their hearts are tranquil, without fear, till at last they look down on their foes. (9) Lavishly they give to the poor; their prosperity shall endure forever; their horn shall be exalted in honor. (10) The wicked shall be angry to see this; they will gnash their teeth and waste away; the desires of the wicked come to nothing. I cannot exemplify the fact that the more you give, the more you receive of the graces from God. If as Catholic young adults, if we all listen and reflect on this Psalm, we too will be surprised by the gifts that God will bring to you all! Pope Benedict XVI said about this verse:
"The secret of happiness is docility to God and generosity to the needy, says Benedict..."
That statement summarizes this Psalm to it's bare essence. Docility to God and generosity to the needy. Please pray for me as I embrace this Psalm and put my thoughts into action to help the needy with my obedience to God in my new business endeavor that I blogged about earlier this week. Convert and Cradle Catholics

I would like to say that whether we are converted or cradle Catholics, we should never miss an opportunity to evangelize about our Faith. Whether it is towards non-Catholics or the most devout Catholic, we can always learn something about what it is to be a Catholic. My example is that the more I read, attend Mass, participate in Bible Study, read news articles related to my Faith or just witnessing examples of good Christian behavior, I learn something new everyday. It is an amazing and wonderful thing to have, this Faith of ours! Reading this article on a convert to Catholicism just brought to mind that we can never stop learning about our Faith. It is inherent to those of us who think they know or are well versed about the Catholic Faith to never stop learning as well as help others understand our Faith. God bless the Catholic Church. Pope Praises LARGE Families!

Pope Benedict XVI spoke about the virtues of large families.

"...the centrality of the family, the foundational cell of society and the first place where life is welcomed and served..."

I myself come from a semi-large family, but my extended family (only 1st cousins counted) on my mothers side is 75 strong! My grandparents had 12 children and their offspring have brought a blessed number of cousins that I cherish very much. Remove 'Catholic' Identity From Loretto

"The church, under the papacy of Benedict XVI, will likely refuse to support and maintain ties with institutions that have weakened or lost their Catholic identity..."
That would be good first step in the ongoing Crisis of Faith that is occurring at Loretto High School. This Crisis of Faith is in reference to the expulsion of 15 year old Katelyn Sills from an all girls Catholic high school in northern California. Katelyn was expelled because her mother (Wynette Sills) notified Bishop Weigand, prelate of the diocese where the school is located, about a drama teacher (Marie Bain) who is an active volunteer for Planned Parenthood. After quietly and discreetly notifying Loretto High School in which they demurred to follow any action, Mrs. Sills took the next correct step in notifying the Bishop. Bishop Weigand responded appropriately and requested the dismissal of drama teacher Marie Bain. Bishop Weigand had to force his hand in order to make Loretto High School comply with the Teachings of Jesus Christ when the school authorities continued to adhere to heresy in continuing employment of a anti-Catholic teacher. Lorreto High School, in my opinion, should be immediately stripped of the title of Catholic high school since they are showing due belligerence and malice to those that actually practive their faith correctly. Shame on the administration of Lorreto High School for retaliating against Wynette Sills by expelling her daughter, Katelyn Sills. Pope Benedict XVI should begin with Loretto High School by requiring Loretto in correcting their errors, or stripping them of the name Catholic.
