Iran: The Family of a Martyred Christian Arrested

12 years ago the Islamic Republic of Iran's government executed a Christian for converting from Islam. This Christian, Mehdi Dibaj, was a pastor for the Assemblies of God. This past Friday his youngest daughter, Fereshteh Dibaj, was arrested along with her husband, Reza Montazami by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. They are being held for questioning, but no other answers were given and they are still being detained. This young couple ran a house church in northeastern city of Mashhad. UPDATED: After nine days in police custody Reza Montazami and Fereshteh Dibaj were released on bail. Mr. Montazami's parents turned over a property deed worth about $25,000 for their release. Mr. & Mrs. Montazami were required to promise not to hold Christian meetings at their home. Another fine example of how Islam treats their non-Muslim citizens while Saudi Arabia is allowed to build mosques all over the United States to teach and preach hate against Christians.
