Communist China Repress Bishops

Nothing new here. It's disgusting to read how the BBC continues to extol the virtues of Communist China's perceived freedoms. The BBC can't stop falling over themselves about how the Communist regime in China has 'new freedoms' by allowing a limited market economy yet completely ignore the right to vote, religious freedom, and freedom of speech. The BBC wants so hard to believe in a communist utopia where social welfare programs pervade life with a flourishing economy since the collapse of the Soviet Union and Warsaw Pact nations. With the slow destruction of the French and German social models, the BBC wants to find a socialist success story so badly that they are willing to overlook freedoms that are essential to a civilized society. With that background it is not a surprise that the Communist regime in China has banned four Catholic Bishops from attending the Synod of Bishops in Rome.
