All Saints Day Meme

I have been tagged with this meme by Moneybags at A Catholic Life. 1. If you were invited to a Halloween/All Saints Day Costume Party, which saint would you dress up as and why? (The Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of God, is not an option.) I would probably dress up as St. Michael the Archangel. The one sent by God to banish Lucifer from Heaven. 2. Which saint or other person would accompany you to the party? St. Gabriel, St. Raphael, and St. Joseph. 3. What famous quote would help others identify you? "Defend us in battle!" 4. Describe your costume. Wearing full armor and carrying a lance. 5. Which movie or film best depicts the life of this saint? None that I'm aware of. 6. What is your favorite book written about this saint or that he or she has written? None that I'm aware of. I tag: Evangelical Catholicism (Katerina & Michael) Ad Altare Dei (Alan) A Catholic Mom In Hawaii (Esther) The Wandering Moon (Stella) College Catholic (Fidei Defensor) Stand Up And Speak Out (Katelyn) Any one else that wants to participate!

Great! I am a huge fan of St. Michael the Archangel. I still say the short prayer to him after each Mass even though it was no longer required after Vatican II.

I am learning and memorizing the Latin translation of his prayer. He is a big inspiration in me.

3. What famous quote would help others identify you?

"Defend us in battle!"

I think a more famous quote would be: "Go to Hell" :)

It took me a split second to get it, but it is funny!
