Lourdes Reports 53,912th Riot-Free Day

The Blessed Virgin Mary appeared, in person, on eighteen occasions to St. Bernadette Soubirous, a very poor 14-year-old girl from Lourdes. The first apparition took place on 11th February and the last took place on 16th July. The Virgin Mary told St. Bernadette "Go, tell the priests to have a chapel built here and bring people here in procession... ...I am the Immaculate Conception" Today each year 6 million people from across the globe come to Lourdes to venerate the Virgin Mother at the Grotto of the Apparitions. This is the exact spot that the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Bernadette spoke with each other.
