Consumer Sex

Jennifer Roback Morse has written a new book titled, "Smart Sex: Finding Life-Long Love in a Hook-Up World". She is a research fellow in economics at the Acton Institute for the Study of Religion and Liberty. Jennifer Roback Morse was recently interviewed by ZENIT and gave her thoughts on sex, marriage, and love. She is a fond admirer of the late Pope John Paul the Great because of his contribution she derived from in formulating her book. In the interview, Jennifer Roback Morse, says smart people choose lifelong married love; which is more appealing than casual sex, or what current popular culture terms 'hook-up' sex. Sex is not a private recreational activity, but a unitive loving act that brings the couple together. She calls this hook-up sex 'consumer sex'. Where it's only used for consumption, like a commodity. Where people are used for this commodity. She goes on to trumpet the ideals of gender roles where the Culture of Death is trying to dispose of this to promote homosexual marriage. This is an excellent interview and I recommend those that believe sex is just a recreational device to read this article. For the article click here.
