Truth Versus Moral Relativism

The new movie by Steven Spielberg called Munich puts on an equal moral plain the murder of Israeli athletes in the 1972 Summer Olympic Games in Munich, Germany as that of the Israeli intelligence agency, the Mossad, revenge killings of these same perpretrators. Is Steven Spielberg already lost to the anti-Semitic crowd? He is an ethnic Jew and he has gone out of his way by bending over backwards to show the Palestinian terrorists as that of equal to Israel's right to exist? I know I am going into a tangent here, but this is the trap that moral relativism has gripped Western civilization, the United States specifically. This mindless mantra of moral relativism gripped the Clinton presidency into a death chokehold that they literally made decisions based on the polls. Moral relativism will be the death knell of our culture if we continue to patronize people like Steven Spielberg and other Hollywood Liberal elites and their work. For more click here.

Believe it or not, Calvin and Hobbes of exactly 10 years ago today discussed this topic.

I'll post the strip on my blog.

Great cartoon.

As for the "death knell" of our culture...

Isn't the culture we see in the media, MTV, Planned Parenthodd, etc, so unlike the culture of us Catholics anyway that we could hardly say we share the same one?

That culture is new, big, and on the decline.

The Catholic culture, the culture of life, is anciet, bigger and deepr than meets the eye, and slowly but surely on the rise as your "sings of growth" post indicated.

I was ahead of myself, but a little forewarning wouldn't hurt. I believe Europe is far off into oblivian, but they can still be saved. Prayer will turn the day, but we need to pray and follow through.
