OPUS DEI

John Allen, Jr.'s New Book about OPUS DEI is a somewhat even-handed examination of this religious order in "Opus Dei : An Objective Look Behind the Myths and Reality of the Most Controversial Force in the Catholic Church". After the 'character assassination' that Dan Brown did in his book "The Da Vinci Code" on Opus Dei, this book will help restore to some degree their public image. Not that it is important, but the reckless abandon that "The Da Vinci Code" has done to many aspects of Catholicism is abhorrent.
