School Pulls Plug on Christian Speech

Does someone smell the presence of the ACLU (Anti-Christian League of Uberliberals) around? Good guess. Brittany McComb is the valedictorian at Foothill High School in Henderson (Las Vegas), Nevada. As is the tradition in most of the country, the valedictorian address is supposed to speak on behalf of her fellow graduating classmates at the commencement ceremonies. The moment she stepped up to the microphone, it went dead. Silence was all that was heard because Clark County School District officials cut off the microphone because speaking about Christianity is against the law. The crowd began to jeer the school officials for preventing Miss McComb from saying her speech. What were the reasons? Brittany McComb is a Christian and she wanted to talk about Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and how He was the inspiration to her throughout her life. The ACLU would have none of that and said what the Clark County School District officials was the 'right call'. As long as free speech doesn't offend liberal (progressive) sensibilities, then you are allowed to have free speech. For more on this article click here.
